Jason Chan & Linda Chung waiting to be a couple team

A few nights ago, Linda Chung and Jason Chan hosted an end-of-filming dinner for the cast and crew of TVB new series Ferris Wheel Happiness. Linda praised Jason for performing well on his first leading role, but he was stressed because he had too high expectations on himself. Jason was asked whether if he had fallen for Linda after their collaboration? Jason blushed and expressed embarrassingly: "I should say we had a great time working together and quickly developed chemistry." Linda added: "Yes, luckily we didn't have any arguments."

The single Jason expressed he has never met with Linda in private before, but they had a pleasant collaboration. In the future, he will invite Linda and other friends out for dinner. He also welcomes advertisers to hire them as a 'couple team', so they could earn money together. In regards to rumored girlfriend Sarah Song spotted on a date with Kevin Cheng? Jason said: "We are just friends, but we're been rumored for so long, it's not convenient for me to comment on her matters."

Jason Chan makes a public love confession to Linda Chung

Yesterday Linda Chung and Jason Chan were on the busy street in Mong Kok shooting for TVB new series Ferris Wheel Happiness. The scene was about Jason on the street looking for Linda, but since he had no luck, he climbed up on the rails and publicly confessed his love for Linda. When Linda heard the touching confession, the two ended the scene with a hug.

Jason and Linda were shooting the same scene over and over again, from the beginning to the end of the street. There were over 10 extras serving as their 'bodyguards' and over a hundred 'volunteer extras' (bystanders) madly taking pictures on the side. At one point, there was a confusion with everyone surrounding their idols. When Jason jumped on the rail to confess his love, he accidentally bumped his head on the street light, but he continued shooting as if nothing happened. As for Linda, despite many people surrounding her for pictures, she was still able to get her emotions out for the shoot. Very professional!

Since the street was crowded, Linda joked she turned into 'Kiu Chi Lam' (her Witness Insecurity role), she said: "There are many staff protecting me, so I'm not afraid." To prevent disturbance, Linda hid herself behind the people to study the script, and rehearsed the scene with Jason. When asked if there was ever a guy who made a love confession to her in public? Linda said: "My first boyfriend, gave me flowers on the street once. I was very touched because we are both shy people!"

Linda Chung praises Philip Ng is a good boyfriend

Linda Chung and Philip Ng's underground relationship has been going on for 5 years. Earlier the relationship surfaces when Philip openly praised that Linda's a 110% girlfriend. Yesterday Linda did a radio interview with Metro, and when asked how would she would score Philip? Linda indirectly admitted sweetly that he's her boyfriend: "Can't calculate it like that, he's a good guy and a very good boyfriend."

Linda expressed she doesn't want to make her relationships public because she wants to have some privacy: "After 8 years in the industry, I've always kept my personal life low-key. I rarely talk about my family or friends. My current priority is my career. I am a very family-oriented person, so I will get married and have kids, but not within the next several years. In the future when I do get married and have kids, I will definitely not hide it because it's a happy thing, I will announce the good news."

So dating isn't a happy thing? Linda believed it requires a lot of courage to announce a relationship, she is very afraid she may affect others, so she has to handle it carefully. "Hope you all can give me some space."

As for Philip, he also praised she performed very well in her latest series Witness Insecurity, Linda excitedly said: "I will give him a call and thank him." She is very happy the premiere reached 30 points and peaked at 33 points. As for her theme song The Most Happy Thing (?????) got 15,000 clicks as well.

Linda Chung accidentally exposes Jason Chan has a girlfriend

Linda Chung, Jason Chan, Cilla Kung and Lin Xiawei attended the blessing ceremony for TVB new series Ferris Wheel Happiness. Linda reveals in the series, she has a crush on Jason and in real life he really takes good care of the people around him. It was said Jason is Moses Chan's successor as the next 'seun poon' (best deal), making Jason feel embarrassed. Reporters teased Jason is a super 'seun poon', Linda was asked if there's any sparks between them, but she accidentally blurted out: "Really? But he already has one (girlfriend). Why is it only guys can be seun poons, I'm filial and faithful, I'm a pretty good deal too!" Linda admires Jason most for his positive energy: "I came back to HK and have more negative energy. (Regret coming back?) Well no, it's rare to find a job that I like doing."

Linda's new series Witness Insecurity's promotional clips were said to be too violent and bloody, Linda said: "The promo clips were shot separately and should be unrelated to the storyline." As for Cilla taking photos with rumored boyfriend Brian, she insisted they known each other for too long and cannot develop any further.

Raymond Lam's heart touched by Linda Chung, hopes to collaborate again

Raymond Lam, Michael Miu and Ben Wong were shooting for TVB new series Highs and Lows at a Dai Pai Dong. In the last few years, Raymond primarily portrays professional and gentleman roles, but Raymond reveals his role this time has a very extreme personality and he can let viewers see a bolder side of him. However, to maintain the 'fire' within him, he often speaks loudly and this caused his voice to become slight hoarse.

Earlier ex-rumored girlfriend Linda Chung talked about her 'past relationship' with Raymond in an interview and disclosed back then when they were filming, she was influenced by the public view and had a moment of thought, wondering if she really could date Raymond. In regards to this, Raymond laughed: "That silly girl! This is called being into character! (Did you have the same feeling when you were filming with her?) Yeah, I was thinking to myself, do we really match that much? But we do indeed match quite well! I hope to collaborate with her again soon!"

Raymond expressed without hiding that the on-screen partnership with Linda has left deep impressions on viewers and also the public accepts them. Although in his personal life, he rarely keeps in touch with Linda, but they still have chemistry when acting together. He laughed and said after being in the industry for so many years, he can quickly get out of character and 'forget' Linda.

Also, Michael Miu is involved in many action scenes, but he claimed that he's still young and it is not necessary for him to save up his physical strength for the future shooting of large-scale scenes. He said: "I'm a young man! (The other young men aren't as amazing as you?) It's just Raymond Lam works too hard!"

Ben Wong plays a senior inspector in the series and reveals that there will be a large gun fight scene soon, so he is starting to save up his physical strength. In the series, Ben is often wearing leather clothing, he claims that it's hot: "We are the hot police officers! (Raymond and Ella Koon both were injured during filming?) For this series, we are always wearing suits and leather clothing, and there are so many action scenes. I ran so much that my legs and back got an infection. At first I thought it was just a sprain, but luckily I had antibiotics and it's nothing serious." When speaking of good buddy Kevin Cheng injured during filming? Ben immediately teased that he's just too weak: "So that's why he's shooting literature and art series in Mainland. Leave the action series for me, I am still young and can still handle it."

Filming crying drama, scared will be like Sammi Cheng, Linda Chung returns to Canada to charge

2002, only 18 years old Lind Chung elected "Miss Chinese in Vancouver" Champion, following year to participate in the "Miss Chinese International in Hong Kong". And then three type of champion to join the entertainment industry. With the pure image, Linda constantly has had the opportunity to have a role to act. 2006 won the "Most Improved Female Artistes Award" highly touted.

2007, Linda with the drama "Heart of Greed - ????" who acted as?????character, ?crybaby ???image was popular, back again with the "Moonlight Resonance - ????" who acted as?????and last year's "Yes Sir, Sorry Sir - ???Sir??Sir", made 'crybaby' image accepted by the public, even more it made "Yes Sir, Sorry Sir" drama become a hot candidate for "Best Actress".

Linda cry collapsed the whole city and successfully moved the audience. Supposed to make their own physical or mental harm, have been under pressure, she was suspected to be like Sammi Cheng who was suffering from depression. So to maintain herself, recently she decided to return home in Canada, rest for two months to fully re-charge.

Recently in her drama "Daddy Good Deeds - ????" Linda acts as a policewoman role for the first time, originally didn't love an action role herself, actually shouted filmed happily and relax. Also it's her to enter the industry for seven years, the second drama while shooting the edning, she cried as she didn't want to finish. One reason is that in the drama who plays my father ?? Ha Yu, we had real father-daughter relationship.

Filming like real father-daughter relationship

During filming, every day when Ha Yu finishes he would personally drive his car and take Linda home. Which made her felt "family" warmth. "Usually when we're in the car we talk a lot of things, til the end of the last day we went quiet. I originally wanted to say: "Thanks dad for driving me everyday, in my heart I am really warm." I finally didn't say it, only said that this is your last day for driving me, he then said: Don't be silly! How is this the last time! I see him wait till I walk in the house then he goes. I immediatly thought back when I first joined the industry, dad always come and look for me, I send him to the airport those scenes. So when I returned home I immedialty cried! Really didn't want it to end. Filmed so many drama's, the first drama "Virtues of Harmony II - ????" will only didn't want to finish!"

Linda frankly glad that this drama she gets to play silly, respect family as "Ko Yu Chu", can bring a smile everyday to work "Always crying really makes yourself depression, do you know that filming a crying scene is injure/bad for your body! Every tears is really real tears, you have to make yourself sad first so that it will touch people. So when finished filming sad scenes, will need time to clear up the mood, but everytime I have no time to do this as it is hard. So when filming Daddy Good Deeds this sort of relaxing type, I can handle this and I feel relaxed to act, like if I was taking a break."

Don't want to use crybaby to view the viewers

Regarding to 'crybaby' image accepted by the public, Linda thinks that she is not'crybaby' type. "Actually which female role doesn't need to cry? I don't have to keep filming crying scenes, it's just because everyone focus on the crying area. I played Miss Koo who only cried in the last 3 scenes, but carry on crying will scare everyone to numbness, I don't want to use crybaby to view the viewers. It's like when I was small I liked to eat Big Mac, eating 6 a day would get bored, viewers will be the same. Hope the producers can try out to use different type of role, real me don't really like to cry! I'm also waiting for a chance to act evil, ugly or mental handicap role. I can picture myself already!

For Linda, the highest on record is in a year to film six drama's with long-term no rest. Body is beginning to send out signal, during the interview she also had a flu and high temperature which she had to lay-off two months of rest, to avoid suffer like Sammi Cheng and Maggie Cheung. "Apart from mind the body constitution is really poor, every month I catch a cold then eczema appaear that's when I know there's a signal. After I looked at Maggei Cheung and Sammi Cheng interview and thought these two had same symptom as me, then that's when I knew I had to take a break. Yes, in life there is many chances in front of you, but when you have not got a healthy body then it's useless."

Linda Chung Celebrated Her 28 Birthday In Canada

Linda turned 28 yesterday. A group of fans sent their well wishes through Linda’s fan blog. Steven Ma, Evergreen Mak, Jess Sum Cheuk Ying, and producer, Lau Kar-ho also posted their well wishes. Linda replied in the blog, “Thank you for all well wishes. This year’s birthday is especially sweet and satisfactory. Although I am one year older, I am grateful and satisfied for everything God has planned all along for me. I have a very simple birthday wish, but very difficult to accomplish. It is good health and safe for my family and friends. Moreover, I wish them living everyday filled with positive energy. I will cherish today and everyday and wish you to do the same.”

On last Sunday, Linda’s elder sister and her husband arranged a surprised birthday party. Linda first thought it was a simple dinner, but later discovered her old friends and classmates from Vancouver were present. Linda said, “I have left Vancouver for 8 years. Many things have changed. I am happy that friendships and affections from family members have not changed. I will cherish and be grateful. I feel the presence of love. Thank you to my sister!.” Linda took this rare opportunity to spend her holidays in Vancouver, where she comfortably went cycling and enjoyed the rhythms of the ocean.

Steven Ma: Most Worried of Linda Chung Getting Bullied!

Steven Ma is a singer turned artist, who entered TVB 19 years ago. Eventually, Steven reached up top becoming one of the first line TVB Siu Sangs and has filmed countless series over the years, but didn't really have rumors. He has a deep relationship with the three FaDans Tavia Yeung, Fala Chen and Linda Chung. Due to having rich life experiences, Steven often coaches the three girls and unconsciously took on the role as their Big Brother.

(Steven speaks...)

Over the years that I've been with TVB, aside from my three god-sisters Tavia, Fala and Linda, many other artists including Kenneth Ma calls me 'Big Brother'. However, I get along most with Linda, Fala and Tavia, we have collaborated the most and have the most fate. When I first met Linda, it was in 2004 when she was shooting her first series, Virtues of Harmony, she played a couple with me. In 2007, Fala played my little sister in Steps and in 2009 Tavia collaborated with me in Sweetness in the Salt, where we played a couple and started getting more familiar.

A good Listener who can keep secrets

Although we never formally became god-siblings, we have a very good relationship. We often chat and I'm more than willing to help resolve any problems they might have. I admit that I am very good at keeping secrets. Whenever they have something to tell me, I will just sit back and listen. Even if I do give them advice, I would turn around and forget it. Once my little sisters finishes venting, then they'll be ok! And whenever there are things they want me to help deal with, I would really put out my heart to help them. I believe it is because of this that they were able to put down their guards towards me. Earlier on my birthday, my three sisters came to celebrate with me too!

I've once said to them, if they ever encounter someone bullying them, then must speak up. I won't let anyone bully my sisters! Although I'm not a martial artist, I will help as much as my capability allows me to. I will pursue justice without any second thoughts and just go help them. This is my promise to them!

Praises Tavia has a very good brother feel

In fact, they all give me a different feeling. Ah Yi (Tavia) is a very independent woman and also has the least problems among the three. I don't need to worry about her! She is a person that will come running to me when she sees me from a far. Compare to the other two sisters, her personality is much more tomboy, and is rather mature. Our relationship really feels like brotherhood, haha! Although I don't get to see her much, I still love her very much.

Fala appears like a little girl in front of me, but she's a very straightforward person, so much that she may even offend people and won't know. I've seen her relationship with reporters not go so well before. Her communication style with the media is a little strange... so I often try to advise her as a big brother. For example, the tone she uses is not too good, I would tell her to change the way she expresses herself. Fortunately, she listened to me and has really reflected on herself based on my advice. Because artists' relationship with the media can be considered closely related, we must mutually show understanding and provide support. For whatever it is, we should not be too stubborn! Recently, I have seen improvement from her. Last week, I talked to her on the phone and told her my experience, that others may not accept your first reaction! Although it is said in order for a person to be slick and sly, they must lie, but in fact I cannot accept that. I will choose another method to handle this: I choose not to say it! Then I don't have to lie.

Urged repeatedly to maintain a pure heart

I know Linda the longest, but she is actually the one I'm most worried about. One time, she messaged me on Weibo and told me that she's a big girl, but I am still worried because Linda is too naive, too simple and can easily get bullied! It's fine working at TVB, a 'greenhouse' that provides maximum protection, but if she were to head out to work elsewhere, then it will be difficult. I watched Linda come into this industry back then. One day we were having a meal together, and I urged her whatever she learns to do, do not learn to be bad, don't do 'dirty' things. Must maintain a pure heart. Linda has been able to do this all along, and has been improving on her acting. I am very grateful. Perhaps, I am used to looking after my siblings at home, so my words may sound a little old-fashioned and feel like a father, but I am fortunate to have found three sisters that I could respect and love, and vice versa!

Aside from my beautiful god-sisters, I actually have three good brothers too: Evergreen Mak, Dexter Young and Lam King Kong. We have known each other for a long time and often hang out. They slowly became like family.

Evergreen and I have a deep relationship, which started when we did 2002's Where the Legend Begins together. Dexter got married in July, and of course he invited me to his wedding. That time I was shooting in Mainland, but I made time on my schedule to come back for his wedding no matter what it took. As for Lam King Kong, I also have a deep relationship with him. Our relationship may not be known by all, but people in the industry always say "there is no true relationships in showbiz", I think we broke through this saying. It's just that those people who says that, haven't encountered a true friend yet or perhaps they aren't willing to put their heart out to communicate with others. In fact, artists may not necessarily be 'fake' people!"
__________

Steven said Fala's personality is too straightforward, but Fala in turn greatly praises her god-brother. As an independent girl, Fala frankly said she had always been desperate to have a big brother. After coming to HK and meeting Steven, she laughed and said her wish 'half came true'. Fala said: "At the time, when I participated in Steps, I was one of the newcomers. Whatever he believed this little girl lacked...he would give me advice, especially on life principles. There are many things in life, he taught me to tolerate. When encountering such situation, I cannot just jump out and keep talking, being too straightforward can really offend people without knowing it. He's got a good social circle in this industry and experienced, of course I would listen to his advice. I'm also very thankful that he teaches me on how to handle things in life! I even told my mom about this big brother. Earlier at the Ghost Writer promotion, my mom came to HK to support me, and saw him there too. Although we haven't officially became god siblings, our relationship is still maintained well. Our interaction is very true and real. I know my brother doesn't care if its official or not!"

DGD: Steven Ma and Linda Chung

Linda Chung: Steven Ma Accompanied Me Through Stormy Weathers

In Virtues of Harmony 2, there were many good teachers teaching me how to act. I recall this one scene about (Michelle) Hung Bak Lam having a terminal disease so she thought of ways to make Ivan Sze Gee San (Steven Ma) leave her. When she went to the airport to send Ivan off, Steven told me to show my side profile first then slowly turn around toward him and cry, the outcome would be that much more effective. Even now I still continue using this crying method Steven taught me.

A Journey Called Life

During this period I was at low tide, also the period my homesickness was really intense. I am very grateful having Steven constantly encouraging me and putting up with me. In this series, I portrayed a wet miu. (party girl(?)) with lots of family problems. Also had a stillborn scene. The script closely relates to real life. Can be said among Steven and my collaborated works to be my most favorite and satisfied one.

A Watchdog’s Tale

This series let me see the other side of Steven. I did not expect that shod in flip-flops he could be so uncouth (ma lat) totally departed from his normal refined and polite image. And since this is a comedy, during the shooting my mood was not too heavy.

Ghost Writer

During VOH2's filming I was a rather cheerful woman, but during Ghost Writer's filming it can be said that I fell to the lowest pit. The years within the entertainment circle was like a rubber band tightening around me; it finally snapped during this period. I realized I was not suited for an entertainment lifestyle plus I didn’t have my family in Hong Kong. I was depressed. Plus I suffered constant insomnia. And had bad skin. I knew that Steven at seeing me thus was worried but did not know what to do so kept his silence, staying by my side quietly supporting me. Fortunately, now, on the whole, I have re-adapted to this lifestyle. I try to do more stuff that I enjoy. Also know how to better communicate with friends and to share my concerns, so can gradually cross over deep pits. During Daddy Good Deeds’ shooting, Steven finally saw that I had become more and more sanguine. I’m very grateful to this good brother of mine who has always stood by me and supported me.

Linda’s 'Draw Something' for Steven.

Steven is my good brother, who has witnessed my up and down moods since I entered the industry. He has stayed by my side the whole time. Even though he has now left the company I still hope that Steven, who has not only accompanied me throughout my growth but is also a good partner who worked well with me, can return to my side to continue making more good series.

Steven Ma: Linda Chung is Like My Younger Sister.

Virtues of Harmony 2

This is Linda’s first series, I thought this woman was very pretty, and a bit shy, very well-behaved (guai) and ingenuous. During that time, I constantly had lunch with her to chitchat so that she would be more relax. I recall saying this to her: “This field is not all that complex. But opportunity always exists for one to turn bad. So in everything must put in efforts to learn from it. The most important thing is not to go down the wrong path. To this day, she still manages to do that, and is also still a good woman.(guai nui)

A Journey Called Life

She has matured, her acting skill has also improved, especially her emoting feelings has improved enormously. Our collaborations are mostly small productions, this series is no exception. The story content emulates real life's happenings. It talks about us being husband and wife. It was our second collaboration, but our relationship seems to have gone a notch up, more like brother and sister. To this day, she still calls me ‘gor gor’.

A Watchdog’s Tale

We officially filmed a comedy series, laughter was constant. Also, our characters underwent a big change. I was crude and slovenly, a total uncouth man (malat zai). While she had on this short hair wig to portray a tomboy. Totally a Wu Jun lookalike. Haha! This series increased our tacit understanding of each other. I recall during the shooting, I commented that no series could possibly pose a problem to us because we already knew each other’s strengths and weaknesses so could mutually compensate each other’s deficiency.

Ghost Writer

During this period Linda had serious insomnia, very edgy all the time, and her skin was bad too. Plus the character in the series endured many grievances so that affected her moods too. Could see that it was a tough period for her. I was concerned for her. At the time, I constantly urged her to take rests, to do exercise because besides relieving stress, it can also affect the spirit. After that, we filmed our own separate series, but we still kept in touch and I knew her situation underwent a positive turnaround. During Daddy Good Deeds, she seemed much more happier. At the last (DGD promo), she told me that she do aerobics once every week to keep fit. She seems to be in good spirits. I’m happy for her, and also feel more at ease (on lok) about her.

Steven’s 'Draw Something' for Linda

There was this one scene that was shot at a jewelry store. During the break Linda was taken by a butterfly pendant and so for the first time in her life she bought a diamond pendant. She said she loves butterflies a lot and that whenever she sees one she would be very happy. I remember what she said, so today I especially drew a butterfly to make her happy.

Steven once spoke out on Linda's behalf subsequently incurring TVB's wrath.

Steven Ma: TVB should do some self- reflection.

The male lead in PSL (Ghost Writer) and also Linda’s most collaborated partner-in-crime and good friend, Steven Ma revealed that witnessing her tearful break down distressed him. “The main reason was due to exhaustion from over work. Too tiring! She’s always been very anxious about her work performance; she had to film series, cut records, and film movies at the same time; always insisted in doing them all perfectly. So bringing on constant insomnia. Her mother wasn’t here in Hong Kong, so I made Ching pu leung herbal tea and watercress soup for her, and also constantly chatted with her. But the most important thing is for her to get some rest….” Linda by nature is pliant so did not dare demur when given series projects to do.

Steven entreated: “TVB really needs to re-examine her workload arrangement! Although she is a tvb managed artiste but still management needs to properly plan her workload. Piling her with a heavy workload and having her doing it all is not necessarily a good thing. She has to be able to handle it. Have to see if 'xiu pang yao' (young friend) can even breathe first? Even if she can do it, she won’t look good (leng), and her voice won’t sound good either! Sooner or later, she will be wrung dried, her health neglected.”

Linda Chung & Steven Ma praise Shirley Yeung's courage as a single mother

Yesterday Linda Chung, Steven Ma, Evergreen Mak, Cilla Kung, Ha Yu and producer Miu Siu Ching appeared at the Tseung Kwan O school to promote for new series Daddy Good Deeds. As Shirley Yeung's good friend, Linda expressed she has not seen Shirley for several months, but they have kept in touch on Whatsapp. Yesterday Shirley came back to HK, has Linda seen her yet? Linda said: "Find an opportunity to. As a single mother, it is really mighty to be able to raise a child on your own. I will wish them good health and live happily!" Steven expressed he hasn't had many collaborations with Shirley, but as an outsider, one woman having to raise a child herself requires a lot of courage, she is very brave.

Earlier it was rumored Mona Fong personally asked Steven to stay with TVB. Today, Mona has already resigned from her position, so does this mean it will be difficult for Steven to serve for TVB again? Steven said: "I already said TVB has discussed with me. Mona Fong asking me to stay is a rumor, I never personally heard her say that she wants me to stay. She gave me a very good impression, she's a good person. Currently there are many different TV stations that have approached me. In Hong Kong, as long as its reasonable and fair, my first choice is 'maternal home' TVB." Steven knows Mona switched from her Vice-Chairman position to Managing Director. It should be a good thing, and won't be too difficult for her. The cast also bid farewell to producer Miu Siu Ching, who is leaving TVB at the end of this month.

Ron Ng's mother rushes him to buy a home; Linda Chung no fear of limelight stolen by Mandy Wong

Ron Ng and Linda Chung have great confidence for their series L'Escargot. Ron expressed the script is one of his top three favorites among all the series he's film in the last ten years.

Ron expressed when he was young, he lived in a 400 square feet home with his family before. He said: "I slept in the living room when I was young, but that time life was great, I always go out to the hallway to play ball and table tennis. Kids nowadays have so many video games to play with, such a luxurious life." When reporters teased they thought his family was rich, Ron became tense and said: "Of course not, did you get the wrong person! (It's Raymond Lam?) All he plays with are model [toys]."

Ron said his mother's greatest wish is when he's able to buy his own house, and does not hope he rents. Ron said: "The best is to live with my mother. When I get home from work, I get to have good soup and a nice dinner. For lunch, I get a nice lunchbox. There was a period of time when my mom had to go help my sister babysit, I felt so meaningless that time, had to rely on my domestic worker and only had noodles. (Get yourself a wife!) I'm not at an marriageable age yet, still have to buy a house and earn more money."

Linda is very happy to hear L'Escargot is getting positive response. She is also very happy that Mandy Wong as "Kwan Yee So" is rising in popularity from this role. "She is an artist with high flexibility, but I am not afraid she will steal my limelight. I just hope the series can touch audiences' hearts. Of course the best is that every character gets popular."

Mandy gets yelled at on the streets

"Kwan Yee So" Mandy's popularity has been on the rise, yesterday she accepted Metro Radio's interview and when asked if she gets yelled at on the streets? She laughed: "Yeah, I have been yelled at before. When I go to a place with lots of people, some would scold me and ask why is my character so dislikeable? However, there are also many of my seniors like Power Chan and Raymond Cho that have praised I did well."

Regarding the Ron and Linda breakup scene in L'Escargot said to have been a complete ripoff of Raymond Lam and Tavia Yeung's breakup scene in The Mysteries of Love? Mandy said breakups are often conveyed by crying, so she does not feel its plagiarism.

Linda Chung a crybaby who is praised to be next TV Queen

Michael Miu, Michael Tse, Linda Chung and Ron Ng's TVB series L'Escargot is getting very good response. The episode broadcast the night before, about the aftermath of Ka Lok (Linda Chung) and Ko Wan Jim (Michael Tse) affair, led to the break up of Ka Lok and her boyfriend Dai Ting (Ron Ng). The couple weren't able to continue with their marriage and their performance moved audience to tears. Also, the scene where Michael Miu smacked his little sister Linda and hit Michael (Tse) shouting 'PK' to him, stirred up a very large reaction.

Viewers had a huge reaction to the foul language 'PK' being broadcast on TV. Reporters contacted Michael (Tse) about the issue, he laughed he does not mind getting scolded during the new year holidays. He laughed: "It's just another way to express sympathy!" As for producer Nelson Cheung, he expressed several series from the past had this 'foul language' broadcast too, TVB has a specific department responsible for examining the lines. If there is a problem, then they will point it out and so it should be no problem.

Earlier Linda Chung had an astonishing 'cry' scene in Yes Sir, Sorry Sir, and this time in L'Escargot, she continues the crying to draw in more viewers. There were some readers that complained that there is all this crying and weeping on TV over the Lunar New Year holidays, but at the same time, there are also praises. It was said Linda's crying has improved, a reader said it was a pity Linda couldn't get the My Favorite TV Female Character Award last year at the TVB Anniversary Awards for her role in 'Miss Koo'. The reader strongly supports Linda to get TV Queen for her Ka Lok role in L'Escargot.

Yesterday Linda said over the phone: "The award ceremonies are still so far away from now, I do not dare to say anything. I thank audience for all the support. (Did you have a difficult time crying?) When I was shooting that scene, I was feeling very emotional, really cried so much that my eyes became swollen. (Shouldn't be broadcasting such tragic crying scenes during Lunar New Year?) I hope everyone doesn't just concentrate on the crying, we just wanted to bring a positive message. The most important is the whole family happily together." Also, in the series Linda and Michael had an affair, and broke Ron's heart. It was said the ending will be a tragic one, although Ron forgave Linda, but Linda couldn't forgive herself and declined to reconcile with him!

Linda Chung: I didn't wash my hands after using restroom

Linda Chung and Michael Tse attended a Lunar New Year countdown event with rumored couple Fiona Sit and Khalil Fong. When speaking of the scene in L'Escargot, where Michael sucked Linda's bleeding finger from a cut, Linda laughed: "That day, I didn't wash my hands after using the restroom!" Michael responded immediately: "Wah! No wonder that night, I felt so uncomfortable!"

Also present at the event was Fiona who is going to hold her HK Coliseum concert in July, but she will have to first shoot two films and also have to direct the MV to her new song. She's already preparing now. When asked if she'll go send new year greetings at Khalil's house? She said: "Because of work, I can't go." As for Khalil, he is allergic to cats, so won't be going to Fiona's house to send new year greetings because she owns a cat.

Even the Taxi driver told Linda to 'add oil', making feel she has already become the Most Favorite Actress in the hearts of the viewers.

If she does win the award, it is well deserved. I don't agree that I don't have parties or groups supporting me. When I first entered the industry, my parents repeatedly urged that I just strive my hardest to do my part. TVB has also given me a lot of opportunities. My goal is to become TV Queen before age 30. When the time comes, I hope to gain both the TV Queen title and a good husband."

Linda Chung believes Myolie Wu is internally set to get TV Queen

Wayne Lai, Sheren Tang, Linda Chung and Joyce Cheng attended the Mingpao Magazine 43rd Artist Power Awards Ceremony 2011. Wayne and Sheren were presented with the 'Most Outstanding TV Actor and Actress' awards respectively depended on their roles in No Regrets. The series also won 'Most Outstanding TV Programme Award'. The MC, Wong He, joked this is the pirated version of last year's TVB Anniversary Awards.

Wayne and Sheren stressed the success is not entirely due to their personal contributions, but depends on the efforts of the entire crew. Wayne said: "I am very lucky that I was able to shoot two really good series in my lifetime, that allowed me to get so many awards."

This year, Linda Chung is nominated for both TVB Best Actress and My Favorite TV Character awards, but didn't attend the TVB Awards press conference and announcement of the nominations that was held a few days ago. She explained: "I was on vacation. I will be going on vacation with my family soon, so I won't be participating in the TVB Anniversary show. However, I will definitely attend the awards ceremony. I am pretty pleased with my achievements this year. I have confidence to win the 'My Favorite TV Character' award. For TV Queen, I support Myolie Wu. It is not because I'm giving up on the award, but is because I still have room for improvement. I have been in the industry for 7 years, but still need to immerse myself more. I hope to get the award on my 9th or 10th anniversary." Asked if TVB internally decided to give Myolie Wu the TV Queen title? Linda said: "No, but this rumor is reasonable. She is an experienced actress and her performance is outstanding."

Last night, Linda won the reader-voted award 'Most Supported Artist Power Big Award'. This year's music newcomer, Joyce Cheng was awarded with the "Most Outstanding Female Singer Award" and the "Most Outstanding Record Award'. She appeared very emotional upon receiving the awards.

Linda Chung - Definite Winner for the "My Favourite Female Character" Award

As TVB is becoming worried about losing any more of its leading actors and actress, it is heavily promoting its own “Daughter and Sons” in the coming year to succeed those who have left already. The first one picked for this is Linda Chung. Linda has stood out this year with her crying scene in Yes Sir Sorry Sir, and will be allocated with the “My Favourite Female Character” Award by TVB. Also, TVB will tailor-make a drama for her - Miss Koo 2, where she will have the leading role. She will be “upgraded” from the 2nd leading actress to the leading actress.

With more and more “Big Brothers” and “Big Sisters” leaving TVB, the company can only focus on promoting its own “Daughter and Sons”. A few months back, TVB broadcasted the drama Yes Sir Sorry Sir, which had Moses Chan and Tavia Yeung as the leading actor and actress respectively. The TV ratings peaked at 38 points, and this was during the scene when the “scoundrel” Moses Chan breaks up with Linda Chung. Linda’s subsequent break down caused the audience to cry along with her, and even caused the originally “Hot Property” Moses Chan to become labelled as a “scoundrel”. Both the TV ratings and the number of hits on the TVB website for watching the drama increased. Due to the positive and enthusiastic response from the audience for Yes Sir Sorry Sir, TVB decided to support her heavily to become the next “Big Sister”.

Since winning the “Most Improved Female Artiste” Award in 2006, Linda has received several TVB award nominations through the years, but unfortunately to date she does not seem to be destined to win the “Best Actress” Award. There are reports pointing out that TVB has already allocated the “My Favourite Female Character” Award to Linda Chung, and on top of that, the company has tailor-made the drama Miss Koo 2 for her, hoping that Linda will follow the footsteps of Laughing Gor (Michael Tse) – Miss Koo and Linda will become synonymous for each other. Linda’s popularity will rise, propelling her up the ranks in TVB.

Although in recent years Linda Chung has been involved in countless dramas, she has only been a supporting actress in dramas which have received public acclaim, for example her role as “Sheung Joi Sum” in Heart of Greed and even the role of “Miss Koo”, which made her famous overnight, was a 2nd leading actress role. However, due to TVB’s careful arrangements this year, Linda has gradually become a “Big Sister”, and TVB has even tailor-made a new series for her – Miss Koo 2, as well as arranging the popular Bosco Wong to become her partner in the drama.

Actually this is not Linda and Bosco’s first collaboration. Linda was stuck when choosing a relationship between either Raymond Fund or Bosco Wong in Moonlight Resonance. The plot made the audience become very anxious. However, in the end, Linda chose Raymond’s character over Bosco. The two then collaborated again in The Gem of Life. In this drama, Linda’s character loved to mess around with other people’s feelings. Despite this, Bosco’s character still fell in love with her, although in the end Linda fell in love with Wong Hei’s character instead and Bosco and Linda’s relationship did not take off.

It is a shame that Linda and Bosco’s relationship in new drama Miss Koo 2 will also not have a happy ending. According to reports, Linda will be portraying a rich girl and Bosco will be a policeman who is in charge of protecting witnesses. Having to protect Linda every day, the two start to fall in love with each other. However, due to the unwritten rule that the policeman in charge cannot be in a relationship with the witness, the two loved each other but in the end were unable to develop their relationship any further. It looks as though Linda will have a breakthrough with her leading role; however she will still not be able to escape from fate- loving Bosco, but unable to be with him.

Linda Chung adds assurance for success of My Favorite Female Character Award

TVB FaDan Linda Chung attended a Halloween event in Dai Po and made Halloween treats live on the spot. She also performed two songs. When speaking of the recent rumors that TVB decided internally that they will be giving her the "My Favorite Female Character Award" this year, Linda expressed she is happy and has confidence: "We won't know until the last moment. However, I really like my Miss Koo role! (They're promoting you because there aren't any other FaDans?) No, Charmaine Sheh, Jessica Hsuan and Maggie Cheung are still shooting series. Not much of a difference!"

Linda reveals that she will be shooting new series Miss Koo Spinoff next month with Bosco Wong. Clearly she is being promoted for the award. She expressed it is Producer Lau Ka Ho's idea: "He said he never seen such response for a female character. We haven't discussed the details yet, but my character is different from the last series (Yes Sir Sorry Sir)." Regarding the TV Queen title, Linda feels there is still room for improvement, so she does not dare to get it yet. She does hope one day when she gets it, it will be deserved.
