JSG Awards says “bye bye” to HK Coliseum

For more than a decade, TVB’s annual “JSG Top Ten Awards Ceremony” took place as a ‘major event’ at the HK Coliseum. Our paper received word recently that this year’s (2011) JSG Awards will take place on January 14th, however the venue for the show will no longer be the HK Coliseum – instead, the event will take place in Studio One at TVB City. With the drop in attendance from over 10,000 audience members (HK Coliseum) to only about 700 audience (Studio One), the huge difference in the ‘grandeur’ of the event is very apparent.
