Psy takes off his shirt at free concert

On October 4th, Psy held his free concert at Seoul Plaza titled the ‘Seoul Style Concert’, in order to thank all his fans for supporting him so far. Performing his hit songs, around 80,000 people cheered him on through almost two hours of performances.

The free concert, which cost the city a reported 400 million won, was aired live on Live Seoul, YouTube, and UStream to share the festivities with international fans.

The concert started with the Korean national anthem and continued onto Psy’s hits such as “Celebrity,” “Shake It,” “Father” and “We Are the One”. To further heat up the stage, he performed “Gangnam Style,” which has brought him international fame, and the crowd all danced and shouted with excitement.

And as the night came to an end, Psy once again went up the stage and took off his shirt for an encore performance of “Gangnam Style”. The Korean pop star had previously promised that he would perform shirtless if he reached #1 on Billboard‘s “Hot 100”. However, he announced earlier this week that he’d perform topless regardless of whether he reached number 1, to express his gratitude for fans.

Concert Tour once again breaks records – Jacky Cheung to release 3D concert DVD

The Jacky Cheung ½ Century World Tour Concert «???1/2?????»recently held its finale performance in Hong Kong. The concert tour started back in December 2010 and a year and half later, in May 2012, it [came] to a close with a final count of 146 shows – which breaks the record for total number of [world tour] concert shows performed by a HK singer. Last year, in April 2011, Jacky had held ‘part 1’ of the Hong Kong leg of his tour at the HK Coliseum; this year (May 2012), ‘part 2’ was held at the Asia Expo Center – a venue that allowed for a wider stage, more far-reaching views, and better lighting effects. For the finale shows, Jacky invested a lot of effort and thought into the process – in a few months time, he will be achieving another ‘first’ amongst HK singers: he will be the first artist to release a concert DVD completely in 3D.

The name ‘Jacky Cheung’ itself is already a ‘beautiful voice, beautiful songs’ guarantee, however this time around, Jacky took his concert to new heights by incorporating elements that would allow audiences attending the concert to enjoy the best visual effects possible: a huge high-definition [HD] LED screen, multi-colored laser lights, a transparent glass stage, a heavy weight specially tailored outfit made of crystal beads, etc. For the anticipated release of the concert DVD, Jacky wanted the concert to be filmed using the highest level quality method possible – other than the usual HD and Blueray, what other option was there? After a little thought, an idea suddenly came to him – with the recent trend of many Hollywood grand productions being filmed in 3D, why not apply that same concept to his concert? With that thought, Jacky decided that he wanted to release a 3D concert DVD.

Filming in 3D is actually 4 to 5 times more expensive than filming in regular 2D mode – a 70 person filming crew had to be hired and from an equipment perspective, filming required 3 times the number of cameras that would normally be used. In addition, cameras had to be installed in various places throughout the arena in order to capture the performances from multiple angles. With everything that had to be done, filming only the very last show was virtually impossible – therefore, filming had to take place over the course of 3 shows, with the equipment running for 3 nights straight. The production was definitely taken very seriously.

Our [Mingpao’s] reporter watched the 138th show (a lucky number), which was one of the shows where the special filming took place. That night, a gigantic HD camera was set up in the arena’s control tower and each time concert producer Florence Chan (???) had to leave or enter the area, she had to bend over slightly when walking in front of the camera so as not to block its view. She expressed: “A few nights ago, we watched some of the 3D trial footage of the concert and it truly did feel as though things were flying out at us from the screen! Definitely a very three-dimensional feeling.”

As soon as Jacky expressed his desire to film in 3D, Florence Chan immediately set the preparations in motion. Knowing that each shot would be very clear and crisp, which meant that even one speck of dirt would be captured by the cameras, Mrs. Chan had to arrange for an entirely new set to be made for the stage, with each crevice [of the set] carefully lacquered and polished to perfection. Even Jacky’s concert outfits had to be newly made, as there were quite a few heavy dance numbers scheduled throughout the show -- since Jacky usually sweats a lot during these performances, an additional 3 sets of the same-style outfits were made so that he could change into brand new outfits each night that filming took place. Mrs. Chan expressed: “With each white-colored outfit, we were afraid that even a speck of powder [from the makeup] on the collar would be visible!”

Due to all 10 of the finale shows being completely sold out, concert organizers specially added an additional section of seating in the hopes of reaching audiences who were not able to buy tickets earlier. These $200 HKD seats are on a slightly slanted incline on both sides of the stage and the view is partially obstructed majority of the time, however each time Jacky walks onto the suspension bridges on both sides to perform, the distance to him is especially close – definitely something for the fans purchasing these tickets to consider!

[NEWS] IU completes first solo concert stage successfully!

It has been almost four years since IU's debut in the industry and she has finally finished her first solo concert. IU first debuted in 2008 with her song first album and since then has released a couple of hit's from her albums. It is the first of the many concerts of IU for her first Nation wide tour in South Korea and IU impressed her audience with her stage performances. IU performed her hit songs and captivated the audience with her dreamlike voice and stage as well as pumping up energy with upbeat dance numbers for her special stages as she performed Rainism, Boom Boom Pow and even Troublemaker.

Jacky Cheung completes ½ Century World Tour Concert; plans to be ‘stay-at-home dad’ for the time being

Jacky Cheung (???) launched his ½ Century World Tour Concert back on December 30, 2010 [in Shanghai] – a year and a half later, after a record-breaking 146 shows, the concert finally came to a close. Yesterday night (May 30th), Jacky wrapped up his World Tour Concert with the last of 10 sold out shows at the Asia Expo Center in Hong Kong.

Prior to yesterday’s show, Jacky, his concert manager Florence Chan, and the rest of the crew participated in a special blessing ceremony for the show – afterwards, Jacky met with over 100 fans who had arrived extra early for the show, shaking their hands and posing for pictures with them. Asked about his feelings towards his concert tour drawing to a close, Jacky stated that as early as a few days ago, he was already experiencing feelings of sadness, as the concert tour had become somewhat of a ‘lifestyle’ that he had already gotten used to.

Asked if he will finally have time to rest now that the tour is over, Jacky smiled and replied: “I will actually be going from one ‘job’ to another, as I will go back to taking care of my daughters. With summer vacation coming up, I need to help my daughters arrange summer plans.” (Going on another family trip?) “No, I would rather spend more time chatting with them at home.” (Did you ask your daughters for their opinion?) “No, because if I ask them, their answer would be a family trip – we always go to the same places on our family trips, so I would prefer not to this time around. I would like to arrange for them to take music classes instead.” (What’s your wife’s opinion about it?) “She’s ok with it, since I’m back now helping to take care of the girls, she can rest now.”

Asked about his thoughts on NowTV’s rumored plans to create a music chart and awards ceremony similar to TVB’s Jade Solid Gold (????), Jacky responded that he is not too familiar with the reported plans: “The most important thing is whether the criteria [for the charting and awards] is clear or not – if so, then it is beneficial for the music industry. However if all it does is create unhealthy conflict, then there’s no point.” (If the criteria is clear, would you mind making an appearance on the show in support of it?) “It’s not a matter of whether I mind or not – it’s really dependent on my schedule. Nowadays, I don’t make music as consistently as I did in the past – with me releasing albums only every 3 years now, if they were to wait for me, their program might be over already!” Jacky emphasized that the ceremony needs to be beneficial to the music industry -- if it’s just like all the other ceremonies where they need to rely on relationships to get awards or the ceremony is used to promote their own artists, then it would just be “asking for trouble”.

During the final show, Jacky shared his feelings toward ending this 17 month journey with his many fans sitting in the audience: “Every time I see your smiles, the moved expressions on your faces, and hear the applause, it gives me tremendous encouragement standing here on the stage.” He continued: “I’m generally a pretty reserved person, but at this moment, I would like to say to all of you: I truly love you guys!”

Many stars attended Jacky’s final concert show, including his good friends, singer Eason Chan (???)and director Andrew Lau (???), both of whom made special effort to attend the concert as well as the celebration event afterwards; later on, both of them posted their pictures with Jacky on Weibo.

After the show, despite being exhausted, Jacky attended the celebration event for his concert and received huge applause from the entire crew. Eason Chan also attended the celebration event and as soon as he went on stage, he got on his knees and pretended to ‘worship’ Jacky. When the two of them hugged, their faces were so close to each other that they almost ‘kissed’ on the lips! Jacky immediately laughed and said to Eason: “I was planning to imitate what you and Denise [Ho] did!” to which Eason replied: “We should ask Andrew Lau to open a new film for us similar to Happy Together (????)!”

Pregnant Mimi Lo performs in 2 night concert: "Baby, Hang In There!"

Mimi Lo held the first of two shows to her concert ????SING???? at Queen Elizabeth Stadium in Wan Chai yesterday. Many artists went to support her including Felix Wong, Jessica Hsuan, Maggie Cheung, Kenix Kwok and husband Frankie Lam, Teresa Mo and her husband, Evergreen Mak, Carlos Ng, John Chiang, and more.

Although Mimi is already two months pregnant, she still went on stage to perform as usual. The first song she performed, was the song that got her famous Challenger ???, but during the song Mimi appeared very excited, having wide smiles on her face and waved to audience: "I finally have my own concert. Did you all just finished praying up in the mountains before coming to see me? I have to walk slowly now because I have a minor issue with my health. For every step I take, you all are more anxious than I am." Following her opening speech, the concert officially started. The concert was based on Mimi's growth and experiences over the years. She performed songs from the vinyl era until today, including Sam Hui's Wine and Song ???? and Difficult to Forget You ???, TV series theme songs Rainbow Round My Shoulder (1983) and The Fearless Duo (1984). When Mimi was performing, she also started dancing, but she clearly didn't dare to make any large movements.

Mimi revealed her 'career line' while singing, and claimed that its possibly going to be her only time: "I'm not sure if I'll ever have the opportunity to hold another concert again. This is my greatest limit to sexiness ('career line' reveal). (Were changes made to any of the concert segments due to her pregnancy?) For the majority of it, there were no changes. The staff are really afraid of me moving too much, but I don't really care, just want to share the course of events. Also, I basically don't have that many dances." She also didn't care and still wore high heels. She was only afraid she may forget and trip on stage.

Power Chan sends a sweet SMS to show his support

Mimi expressed her husband Power Chan is in Hengdian working and couldn't make it to the concert. However, he did send a sweet SMS to encourage her. It was the first time he wrote "I Love You". Mimi said: "He has never been a sweet talker, to praise that I'm beautiful." When asked if Power approved everything that happens in her concert? Mimi laughed: "I don't care about him. I know after becoming pregnant, I feel a small belly sticking out, so I told my costume designer to make changes because I don't want audience to vomit seeing me like that. I'm somewhat resemble the Roswell aliens." As for the bleeding that happened to her earlier? Mimi said: "Yes, I thought I lost my baby, but fortunately the doctor said the fetus still there. My doctor told me not to work too hard, but I have to complete these two nights first, so I could only tell my baby to hang in there!"

No Fear of Kevin Cheng, Raymond Lam to hold 4th HK Coliseum concert

On Monday (2/27th), EEG held their Spring Banquet, where the company formally announced that three award winner TV King Kevin Cheng has joined them. EEG CEO Ng Yue expressed on stage that EEG will help Kevin produce a song that will become a popular classic, open a HK Coliseum for him and cast him in movies. He also made arrangements for him to take Raymond Lam's seat after he left. It looks like Kevin is already favored by EEG and plus he's also TVB executive Virgina Lok's favorite, so Prince Raymond is facing a threat. Kevin immediately said: "No one can replace Ah Fung's (Raymond) place. Its best that we each have our own successes, you do well, I do well, then everyone is happy."

2009: Let's Get Wet Concert

2010: Come 2 Me Concert

2011: Light Up My Live Concert

Recently, Raymond has been busy shooting for TVB series Dangerous Drug Raid, he expressed: "Kevin and I have collaborated several times, such as TV series Yummy Yummy and we launched an album together All About Men. We have a very good relationship. Now that we are in the same company, it is actually more like a doubly relationship. I believe there will only be a healthy competition and also its only the public comparing us, Kevin and I never compare. We have a different style, I may actually do more fast songs. Kevin and I are both students of Dai Si Chung, we are considered 'See Hing/Dai' (apprentice brothers). I'm looking forward to exchanging knowledge in music." However, after all a 'mountain cannot hold two tigers', Raymond said impatiently: "Whether if its TVB or EEG, how can there just be two tigers? We are a big family!"

It's reasonable that Raymond is confident because even though he did have a lot of criticisms, but he still held 3 HK Coliseum concerts in 3 consecutive years. According to reliable sources, Raymond was to hold his fourth concert in December this year and set a record for having 4 concerts in 4 consecutive years. However, because of his tight schedule, the current plans have been pushed back for a month, to January 2013.

Raymond admitted he will indeed hold another HK Coliseum concert, a very high possibility for January of next year: "I have never thought of breaking records or ever asked for 1 concert per year. Singers can't decide these things because our company is a for-profit business, therefore they won't be doing business that makes no profits. As long as there are people buying tickets, then it will continue, so I am very happy fans have given me the support all along, but I do have fears and anxiety as well. I have demands on myself that I should have something new for fans and audience to see, but time is really rushed. Currently, I am shooting series and recording for my Cantonese album at the same time. In March, I will be going to Australia to do a concert and then I have two more films and a Mainland series to shoot. Then I'll start preparing for my concert next year."

Old Injuries Back to Haunt Him

However, lately Raymond has clearly gained some weight, turns out its because he's been troubled by old injuries: "I have some problems with my sciatic nerve, so there has been pain when I sit. Earlier there was a period of time where I just couldn't do my regular exercises and go to the gym. I have indeed gained some weight. I've been doing a lot of physical therapy, and have to get back to my exercises soon, otherwise I can't even fit into my concert costumes for the Australia concert this month."

Kate Tsui fake smokes in the new series

As for Raymond's co-star in Dangerous Drug Raid, Kate Tsui, she will have to smoke in the series. However, she doesn't know how to smoke, so they had to fake the scene by using a fake hand and the staff helped her light the cigarette: "This time I have be a 'boxer' in the bar, so my costume looks like this, but it's quite ok, not too sexy. The director didn't require me to actually go smoke for real, just told me to hold the cigarette." In the series, Kate will have a relationship with Raymond, Kate laughed: "I have collaborated with Raymond, Bosco Wong and Ron Ng a lot, I hope to collaborate with other actors too. TV King Kevin Cheng, I really haven't collaborated before, so I anticipate the chance to work with him."

Hins Cheung to hold a Guangzhou concert in April, hopes to become the next Stephen Chow

Recently Hins Cheung returned to Guangzhou to attend a music party hosted by Casio. When accepting interviews, Hins Cheung revealed that he plans to release two Cantonese albums this year and he will return to Guangzhou to hold a concert in April. Besides music, he will act in a stage play in July and film a TV series this year.

For the "30 Hour Famine", Hins Cheung visited Kenya, Africa. He stated that he was not able to correctly guess the age of the local children due to their thin and weak figures. He said: "Children who I guessed were only several months old were actually already 2, 3 years old. You cannot imagine how thin their arms were, so thin they were like bones!"

That night Hins Cheung sang «??», «?????» and more popular songs, invigorating the scene. For Valentine's Day, he honestly said: "It is a festive time, of course it is earning money!" Hins often posts spoof videos online in his daily life, Hins Cheung smiled and said that he has always wanted to walk the path of a comedian. "I hope I can become the next Stephen Chow."

In April, Hins will work with the Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra and once again hold a Guangzhou concert. This time, even though the form will be the same as previous Hong Kong performances, he will make modifications in connection with the venue. "For the performance that day, an atrium will be added, there may be one less outfit than Hong Kong (concerts), but I will eliminate a break segment in the middle to achieve a smooth flow." Hins is even more considerate -- as his audience are mainly students, the concert ticket prices will be lower, meeting student's requirements.

After 7 years, Cass Phang finally accepts Wyman Wong’s invitation to perform at concert; no intention of returning to the HK music industry

***Translator’s Note: Only the sections of the article related to Cass Phang were translated.***

Famed lyricist Wyman Wong’s star-studded«Concert YY Wyman Wong Exhibition of Works Concert»held its opening night at the HK Coliseum on February 9th. Prior to the start of the concert, there was already a huge demand for tickets to the show, resulting in additional shows being added – 6 shows total will be held, ending on February 14th.

Amongst the stars slated to perform at the concert, the most highly anticipated was the return of 90s Cantopop queen Cass Phang (??), who had retired from the industry 10 years ago to focus on raising a family. Setting foot on the HK Coliseum stage after a 10 year hiatus, Cass became one of the focal points of the night – first, she sang her famous hit song «???»[‘Little Plaything’], then performed the song«??»[‘Discouraged’] with artist Joey Yung (???), and ended her performance by reuniting with singer Anthony Wong (???) to perform their popular duet «??»[‘Whirlpool’] – gaining loud cheers and applause from the audiences that night.

Last week, a magazine reported that it had received confirmation directly from Cass herself that she would be returning to the HK music industry and that her appearance at Wyman’s concert would pave the way for her comeback. However, it turns out that those earlier reports are false -- at this point in her life, Cass is perfectly happy with her role as ‘wife’ to artist Jan Lamb (???) and ‘mother’ to their 2 daughters. Also, the only reason why she agreed to return to the HKC stage for this one time was because of her long-standing friendship with Wyman Wong.

.--.

The year 2002 marked Cass Phang’s last appearance on the music stage – that year, after completing a 25-show musical dedicated to Teresa Teng, Cass ‘disappeared’ from the HK music scene. The last interview she gave was in 2004, in which she revealed in an exclusive interview with Mingpao Magazine that she was pregnant with her second child.

With the recent ‘rumors’ that Cass will be making an official comeback to the music industry after her guest performance at Wyman’s concert, our [Mingpao] reporter contacted Cass’s previous manager (who today has become her good ‘sister’) Candy Leung to see if Cass would be willing to grant us an interview prior to her performance. However, after checking with Cass, Candy responded: “Cass really does not want to do any more interviews, however if you guys are willing to clarify a few things on her behalf, it would be very much appreciated – the truth is, Cass has never thought of making a return to the industry!”

Then why did that magazine claim to have received confirmation from Cass directly that she would return and become a singer again? Candy replied: “That time, Cass had just returned from a trip with her family and bumped into reporters at the airport – however she says that she never accepted any interview with any Media outlets, so she herself isn’t even sure why things were reported that way. I can tell you on her behalf that those reports about her returning to the industry are absolutely false – you can see with your own eyes that after Cass finishes her guest performance at Wyman’s concert, she will return to her role as 'Mrs. Lamb'! Actually, those false reports were quite bothersome to her – after all, she has not sung in close to 10 years and has been very nervously preparing for this performance. Therefore, she does not want to say anything further and definitely does not want to do any interviews.” Indeed, during her performance at Wyman’s opening night concert, Cass did not say anything on stage outside of her singing.

During an interview backstage after his opening night show, Wyman revealed that he had actually tried to convince Cass to return to the stage 7 years ago: “7 years ago when I held my mini-concert, I had already asked Cass if she could be a guest performer, but at that time, she told me she wasn’t ready. Today, 7 years later, as I was preparing for this ‘exhibition of works’ concert, the first artist I thought of inviting was Cass! Since Cass has such a happy family life and doesn’t have anything to worry about financially, I wasn’t expecting her to say yes, but to my surprise, she agreed immediately – as I was talking on the phone with her, I was in tears! In the years since she left the industry, a lot has happened – I know that someone offered to write her a huge check just to appear at an event and not even sing, however, she refused. Offers of large sums of money cannot motivate Cass to even make an appearance, yet she willingly agreed to perform at my concert – I was so moved that I cried many tears!”

Wyman also revealed the reason why Cass has been unwilling to return to the industry all these years: “Because she has a husband who loves her dearly and does not want her to come out of retirement – plus she loves peace and tranquility! The only reason why I was successful in inviting Cass was because both she and husband Jan are very good friends of mine.”

Focus on her role as 'Mrs Lamb'

Cass entered the music industry in 1990 and in 1995, reached the ‘heavenly queen’ level when she won the ‘Most Popular Female Singer’ award at the JSG Awards Ceremony as well as the ‘Female Singer Gold Award’ at Commercial Radio’s Chik Chak Awards. Cass’s former manager Candy Leung reveals that all these years, Cass has been very grateful to Wyman for writing the song «???»[‘Little Plaything’] for her, which helped to push her career to peak levels: “That year, the song was a huge hit and after that, they [Cass and Wyman] remained very good friends -- in fact, Wyman is actually considered a ‘family friend’! Friendship is something that can’t be explained – Cass agreed to perform purely because she wanted to help out her friend. Of course, before saying yes to Wyman, she had discussed it with her husband first.”

Candy also revealed that throughout the past few years, many different organizations had invited Cass to return: “There have been invitations for concerts and stage performances as well as guest performances at awards ceremonies and charity events – people would say to me: ‘No matter how much money it costs, it’s not a problem, just give me a price!’ However, none of these offers moved Cass one bit – she has stood firm in not wanting to sing again!”

After Cass married Jan Lamb in 1998, she gave birth to 2 daughters, one in 2000 and the other in 2004 – currently, her eldest daughter is already 12 years old and her younger daughter is 8. Candy reveals that in the past 10 years, Cass’s goals in life have been hugely different from what they were when she first started her singing career: “Cass does enjoy singing and she has already experienced what it is like to be at the height of her career as a singer. But we need to consider that the Cass Phang of today is a wife and mother first and foremost – her biggest goal in life now is to raise her 2 daughters. In each stage of one’s life, there are different choices that need to be made – in the upcoming years until her daughters are grown, Cass has very willingly and happily chosen to focus on her role as ‘Mrs. Lamb’!”

According to reports, Cass has only promised Wyman to be guest performer for the opening and final shows of his concert – this means that the finale show on February 14th will most likely be the very last chance that fans will ever have to see former Canto-pop queen Cass Phang perform!

Joey appeared in a flashy bra and long gloves to accompany her black suit designed by the brand MMM. She came on stage dancing with several male dancers and then Anthony Wong followed behind her to duet the late superstar Leslie Cheung's So Far Yet So Close ??????. As for Fiona, she came out accompanied by topless male dancers.

The 'pretty boy' Wyman Wong appeared in an 'opened' suit and then a grenade looking costume. He said: "After the 6 shows, I will be personally ready for Dooms Day. The first time I stepped foot in HK Coliseum was for Anita Mui's concert. At that time, I decided that I want to get popular in HK Coliseum too, but I quickly learned that I couldn't sing, so that's why over the last many years I worked hard in writing lyrics."

It was said, 7 months pregnant Kelly Chen was initially suppose to be his guest too, but in the end she was absent. Kelly's manager responded on her behalf: "Kelly's stomach is very big now, the doctor told her not to work too hard. Kelly didn't want her family and husband to worry about her, so she's sorry that she couldn't make it. She hopes Wyman can hold a Part 2, and she definitely will support him then." Wyman also wishes that Kelly have a healthy baby as well.

"Fuk Luk Sau" HK Colisuem Concert: Ngong Tong 360 is like menstruation

(Miss Pregnant Hong Kong Contest)

(The "Five Tigers")

(Karan Tong, Nancy Sit and Kitty Yuen disguised as school girls)

("Let's Get Wet" performance)

Fuk Luk Sau (The Gods) Louis Yuen, Wong Cho Lam and Johnson Lee kicked off their Hong Kong Colisuem concert Those Years, Laughter Explosion Three Brothers Not Leaving Concert 2012 (???,????3?????2012) last night. Before the show ended, The Gods announced they will temporarily disband, so this time they threw out their 'friendship cards' inviting Michael Miu, Felix Wong, Karan Tong, Kitty Yuen, Nancy Sit, King Kong and Adam Cheng, all big players to be their guest performers. The Gods hope this concert will give audience a perfect last performance (temporarily). Also, they did not forget to add mockery in their performances.

TVB executive Virgina Lok, Leanne Li and others attended to show their support for The Gods. Wong Cho Lam disguised himself as Raymond Lam and performed a different Let's Get Wet, aside from hot dancings with 10 other girls, he also made a spoof with shampoo. Later, The Gods collaborated with Michael Miu and Felix Wong to make up the "Five Tigers", Johnson Lee disguised himself as "Lau Wah" (Andy Lau), who got his Siu Lung Lui stolen; Wong Cho Lam as "Chiu Wai" (Tony Leung), who performed a song to a grandmother; Louis Yuen as "Sam Chun Yip" (Kent Tong), who resembled Tony Chan. Michael spoke out and teased Johnson: "Do you want double happiness like Andy Lau? The secret is to eat more 'egg rolls' (Johnson's girlfriend Bobo Wong)." Karan Tong, Nancy Sit and Kitty Yuen did a collective performance of old memories, performing classics by Jacky Cheung, Ekin Cheng, Mapel Hui, Chilam Cheung, Vivian Chow and others. As for Adam Cheng, he performed Instinct with the Gods and praised how successful the Gods were: "Next time when I hold a concert, I can ask them to be my subsititutes."

The Gods participated in "Miss Pregnant Hong Kong Contest" with their bikinis on and pregnant looks. Johnson said Ngong Ping 360 is just like the female menstruation, it comes whenever it likes to come and stops whenever it likes to stop. In a bikini, Wong Cho Lam spread out his legs and said: "Just like the new government headquarters, the doors are often opened!" Then Cho Lam mocked Kong Qingdong (???) that the most suitable English name for him is DOG and this could be taken to D&G, many people would want to take pictures.

Before the show ended, Wong Cho Lam said: "In the next half year, we will split up for some time. Over the past two or three months, you see us more than seeing your mother. The broadcast rate is like The Voice and TV Buddy." Louis couldn't hold in his tears: "Fuk Luk Sau expresses our temporary goodbye. For approximately the next half year, we will be going our separate ways. I hope next time, we will be able to bring something new to everyone." Asked if they have been sucking in gold too much? The Gods said: "In fact, we are just taking a 6 month break. Later, we will do a concert tour. In the meantime, there are no plans in Hong Kong."

Wong Cho Lam to produce & direct TV series

It was understood, Louis will starting a new series after, Johnson will produce and direct his own film and Wong Cho Lam will produce and direct his own TV series. Virgina Lok said: "Wong Cho Lam will produce and direct his own series. We will let him choose his own cast, but it may not necessarily work out like that. (Leanne Li as the lead actress?) Even if he were to choose, he won't be willing to! This is the first time we are carrying out this style, very refreshing. Actually in the past, Wong Cho Lam has already participated in the outline of the Fuk Luk Sau programs and TV series. What's important is that he's willing to undertake the responsibility. He has a decent idea and theme this time, so we hope to make it happen in May."

Bowie Lam, Moses Chan, Kenny Wong holds X'Mas Rock concert to promote 'When Heaven Burns'

The When Heaven Burns (WHB) rating sinks into a depression. Last night the cast including Moses Chan, Bowie Lam and Kenny Wong took part in a X'Mas Rock promotional event. The three announced they have established a band called 'Sober Band' and hope a record company will invite them to record a CD. Bowie is currently developing in Mainland, so he hoped their singing will be popular from Beijing all the way back to Hong Kong.

As for the low ratings, Moses has not felt disappointed yet. He believes the audience just haven't accepted a new type of series yet, but a taxi driver praised the series is very good. Bowie has already signed with a new management, but he still strongly supported that the story is very touching and that the finale should move audience to tears. Bowie also indirectly criticized TVB: "Actually gotta thank TVB for giving WHB so many promotions. It has already been in storage for two years and they could have kept it in storage, so what? TVB still decided to broadcast it, gotta thank them!"

Producer Jonathan Chik said WHB is his most creative production, it is his own sweat and blood. He haven't felt unhappy for the poor ratings, and its hard to see the majority of the cast out at the promotion last night. It was reported that WHB dragged down the prime time ratings, even the sitcom broadcasting in the 8pm time slot has been affected? Jonathan disdain the report, and asked reporters if they flipped the times in their calculations? He joked he doesn't understand how to do this type of calculation.
