Pierre Ngo plans to be married in December; Hopes 'Rosy Business 3' actually happens

Wayne Lai, Kent Cheng, Pierre Ngo, Natalie Tong, Janet Chow and Vivien Yeo attended TVB new series King Maker promotional event. It was reported Pierre is planning to marry his girlfriend in Canada this September. Yesterday Pierre explained he's going to Canada for a stage performance in September, but his girlfriend is accompanying him on the trip to visit her parents and talk about the marriage. Pierre said: "We've been dating for 12 years, and have plans to tie the knot in December. (So rushed to get married, she's pregnant?) I wish, but no she's not pregnant. We are in a stabled relationship, and already agreed to keep our marriage low-key. We won't be holding a wedding banquet, just a simple dinner with family and friends (Will your parents be going to Canada too?) No, they are getting old." It was rumored Rosy Business III is starting in March next year, Pierre hoped the news is true too and will leave everything to TVB.

When asked about the average ratings for King Makers? Wayne said: "Last week's ratings were really just average because there hasn't been much happening in the story, but it will later start getting exciting. I hope the ratings will go back up by then."

In regards to the rumored Rosy Business III, will Wayne and Sheren Tang have the opportunity to work together again? Wayne admitted he did hear about the news that the series is going to start shooting next year. In the meantime, he'll be shooting a modern series in November first. Wayne expressed he knows a lot of people are anticipating to see the Rosy Business franchise and he also hopes the third installment will really happen as well. Whether if it's going to be the original cast or not, we will have to wait until next year to find out. Will you help call Sheren Tang back to participate in the series? Wayne laughed: "I'm not qualified to do that. Of course I do hope to work with her again, and whenever I have time now, I watch the re-runs of Rosy Business. I've discovered there were at least 12 commercials during the breaks, which is just as many as during the prime time hours. I have to ask TVB to give me some commission."

[Oriental Daily] contracted producer Lee Tim Shing to ask about the Rosy Business third installment. He said over the phone: "It's made up! I am planning to start a new series in February next year and do plan to cast Wayne Lai, but not Sheren Tang! If I were to choose a female lead, I would choose a newcomer, I'm considering JJ Jia or Christine Kuo! (Retiring?) This year I'm retiring, but I promised TVB that starting next year, I'll shoot one series per year. TVB said they wanted to start one in February, their really trying to rip me off!"

Last Thursday, Annie and Jason were spotted on Thursday trying out wedding dresses in the Tsim Sha Tsui district. The couple will be getting married on March 2, 2011 at the Four Seasons Hotel!

Thirty-five-year-old Annie Man possessed a very low key manner. That year, Annie had broken up with her architect boyfriend of 10 years, after which she did not actively look for another relationship. It was not until November 2008 that Annie was spotted kissing a 30-something man (Jason) in a suit in a $500,000 HKD black Mercedes Benz car.

Last Thursday, Annie and Jason were spotted window shopping. Before long, the couple entered a bridal shop, upon which the sales clerks immediately greeted them. It appeared that Annie and Jason had an appointment to try on their wedding attire. Annie changed into a sexy backless bridal dress, which sparked the admiration of everyone present, including Jason’s fixated stare. Afterward, Jason tried on his tuxedo for the wedding. The couple loving fixed each others’ attire.

In a telephone interview, Annie admitted that she and Jason were getting married. Asked whether she was currently pregnant, thus sparking the wedding, Annie laughed and said, “No! But if that were the case, then it was too early to confirm the pregnancy! I am trying to get married before Janet Chow (???) and Sherming Yiu (???)!”

Annie revealed that she has been dating businessman, Jason, for 3 years. Their relationship was very stable. “In fact, we had planned to get married at the end of last year, but we were unable to work out the schedule. After seeing many friends getting married recently, I took a more active role in planning our wedding.”

Annie’s bridesmaids will include Charmaine Sheh (???) ?Angela Tong (???)?Janet Chow (???) and Sherming Yiu (???). Asked whether she will retire from the entertainment industry after marriage, Annie replied, “No, but I will reduce my workload, as I want to have a baby.”

Annie turned her career to mainland China, fading from the Hong Kong television circle. After breaking up with her architect boyfriend, Annie met Jason at cousin’s social gathering. When the press photographed Annie and Jason kissing in the car, the couple had just started dating. It was unexpected that their single kiss had locked their love!

Sammi Cheng and Andy plan wedding in August; Aaron Kwok and Lynn Hung to get married in June

Entering the Year of the Dragon, the entertainment industry was full of good news. Two golden couples, Andy Hui and Sammi Cheng , as well as Aaron Kwok and Lynn Hung will be getting married this year! Sammi and Andy chose to get married near their birthdates in August, while Aaron and Lynn opt for a small wedding in June 2012!

Over the last 20 years, 44-year-old Andy Hui and 39-year-old Sammi Cheng have broken up and reconciled several times; their reconciliation in 2011 was hailed as “the reunification of the century”! The pair have remained good friends throughout the years. Under Sammi’s influence, Andy became a Christian and their conversational topics broadened, while their hobbies became increasingly similar. The couple preferred to go jogging to reduce stress.

In the past, Andy did not possess a blogging habit. Perhaps influenced by Sammi’s passion for writing, Andy started blogging this year to share his inner thoughts with fans. From both Sammi and Andy’s recent blog entries, they appeared to hint that they had marriage in mind. Sammi wrote, “Life is beautiful…make my life complete!” Upon discussing his mentor, Anita Mui, Andy wrote, “There are too many separations and deaths [in life]. You cannot say that you are unwilling and cannot let go. The only thing to do is to treasure the people before you!” Of course the person before Andy to treasure was Sammi!

Sammi and Andy reportedly started planning for their future together. Although numerous wedding rumors cropped up last year, it turned out that the couple had decided to get married in August 2012. The news has been acknowledged by Andy’s family and friends. Both Sammi and Andy’s parents were extremely happy about the impending wedding, with one family member even revealing the news to a colleague at work. It was understood that Sammi and Andy intended to obtain their marriage registration overseas, after which they will hold a low-profile dinner inviting their close friends and family. However, this wedding plan was not supported by their family members, who wished to be more involved in celebrating with the couple [via a larger wedding banquet].

Aaron Kwok Ready to Get Married and Have 2 Kids

Dating for 5 years, Aaron Kwok and Lynn Hung’s relationship became increasingly public. Forty-six-year-0ld Aaron planned to get married with Lynn in the Year of the Dragon and have two children within the next 4 years.

After completing his Hong Kong Coliseum concert, Aaron requested a 2-week long vacation in June with his manager, Xiao Mei. However, Aaron purchased his plane tickets and hotel reservations privately and did not ask for help from anyone else. Such behavior aroused curiosity and under Xiao Mei’s repeated questioning, Aaron only revealed that he will not be in Hong Kong during those two weeks, refusing to disclose his travel location.

It was understood that Aaron and Lynn intended to obtain their marriage registration overseas, similar to their married friends Chingmy Yau and Shum Ka Wai getting married in Japan and Chilam Cheung and Anita Yuen in Australia. Thus far, only four or five friends knew about Aaron’s wedding plans; he intended to invite his closest friends to the small wedding.

To prepare having children with Aaron, Lynn allegedly went to the hospital for a gynecological exam earlier. Aaron hoped to have 2 kids before turning 50 years old, which was not a difficulty for the 32-year-old Lynn. In order to chase a dragon baby, Lynn also sought the help of a traditional Chinese herbalist to restore balance to the body, a popular practice among Hong Kong celebrities.

Asked about his wedding plans a few days ago, Aaron issued his usual denial. Upon the mention of a baby, he smiled widely, indicating the he loved children very much!

Wong Hei: “I Will Never Get Married In My Lifetime!”

Caption: Wong Hei shopping with good friend, Ming Jai.

Wong Hei’s (??) love life has often been a discussion topic. His significant other was exposed by the media as cohabitation partner, “Cousin” Ming Jai. Surprisingly, several years ago, Wong Hei’s ex-girlfriend was revealed to be DJ Kawaii. As to whether Wong Hei loved men or women, he was reluctant in clarifying the matter. Disagreeing with traditional marriage concepts, Wong Hei professed that he will not marry for the rest of his life!

Wong Hei revealed, “I am already 44-years-old. My mother did not ask me whether I will get married or not, since I have already ‘announced’ that I have no intention of getting married. In modern society, not everyone needs to get married. I have to admit that I advocate the ‘polygamous’ system while modern society pursues a monogamous marriage. Due to modern lifestyles, there are many problems in how people interact with each other. In a one-to-one [relationship], there is no way to divert one’s attention. When you see your partner gaining weight and losing hair, the other half has no choice; it is not easy to travel through an entire lifetime in a one-to-one arrangement!

Not To Be Deceived By A Love Story

“Today’s information systems are rich and developed, offering many variables for people to choose. Men can pair with women, men can pair with men, and women pair with women. Who will I pair with? Ha ha…. I can only say that I have two cats (to accompany me). However, I understand the importance of communication between two living beings. Do not be deceived by a love story. The person you are living with is not the person you love. The illusion of the person you love may deliver a certain impression. However, whether two people can love each other is dependent on whether they can share the sweet, sour, bitter, and spicy aspects of life.

“To see whether ‘love’ can exist in harmony, you have to see whether the other person will remain with you should you lose a leg or arm. Good things may not happen in life. Everyone is powerless to change some personal habits. I would regard [the person] as a sick patient. Let me ask you, would you start counting the issues with a patient? If you can ‘cure’ him, then that is another matter. Otherwise, do not intend to change him/her. If he goes to the bathroom and does not flush the toilet, you flush it for him! Even if you blame him for snoring, you should accept it because he does not want to be this way…. Always focus on positive thinking; if you gather your strength collectively, wouldn’t it be better to open up a better future together? This is a tolerant attitude and I am the object of such tolerance!

A Thousand Years’ Effort To Sleep On the Same Pillow

“In life, many small and large matters are realized through love, in which love is accumulated and then reflected upon, and where processes can be sustained in the presence of love. In exercising today’s marriages, a pair of newlyweds make commitments to each other under the presence of a multitude of seated family members and friends. They are driven too much by a formal objective and stay together due to a promise. If there were no promise, then does that mean you do not have the condition to love?

“Have you ever considered why your partner sleeps by your side? As the old saying goes: ‘a hundred years’ efforts is required to cross in the same ferryboat; a thousand years effort is required to sleep on the same pillow’ [it takes a long time to match romantic fates and thus a marriage should be cherished ???????,???????]. As a modern man, I will say, ‘Even if you have a 10,000 square feet mansion, it is incomparable to having someone wait for you to come home to a 100 square feet suite.’ Who is the person sleeping next to me? I will not tell you!”

I found that the lifestyle here is very different than before and was not used to the filming process. Since I maintained contact with RTHK, thus I accepted their offer to participate in a program revolving around the ICAC. I portray a senior investigator in the show and the script is based on a true story.” Nnadia felt that filming a series can bring out a positive public message and contribute to the community. Nnadia claimed to be a “daughter of Hong Kong.”

The other day, though, Aaron unexpectedly revealed that he is already married! He laughed and said, "I married my work long ago; my first child was my (self-written) song, 脈搏 [Mai Bo] [Pulse]."

Aaron is 45 years this year; he celebrated his last birthday with Lynn. Everyone is expecting the couple to walk down the aisle this year. A few days ago, Aaron was interviewed by CEN's 音樂起義/Music Revolution. When asked when he would marry and have children, Aaron maneuvered expertly around the question and said only that he had married his work long ago and currently had no plans to walk down the aisle.

Admits That Singing is Terrible; Thanks Fans For Their Support

Aaron has been in the business for 20 years already; last year, he released a commemorative album. He admitted frankly that he had become a singer mainly because the market was, at the time, fairly empty: "I'm not someone who was born to be a singer. I also wasn't born wanting to be a singer. Instead, I've had to work on it a lot to improve my own singing and singing techniques. He laughed and said, "It's amazing-- my singing is terrible, and yet my fans still support me!"(1)

To commemorate his 20 years in the industry, Aaron tried his hand at writing for the first time; the end result was 脈搏 [Mai Bo] [Pulse]. The song was very well-received by fans, a fact which has strengthened Aaron's passion and determination. He hopes that he will be able to write more songs in the future. When the host of the program asked him which song, over these 20 years, had made the deepest impression on him, Aaron laughed and said, "That would definitely have to be 對你愛不完 [Dui Ni Ai Bu Wan] [Endless Love For You]. If it wasn't for this song, there would be no 'Aaron Kwok.'(2) This song has grown with me!"

(1) Here, Aaron doesn't mean to belittle his fans in any way. It may sound that way in English-- or come across that way to anyone who wasn't brought up in a very traditional Chinese way, but actually, this is pretty standard: being very humble, even self-deprecating. Aaron's statement is actually more one of awe and gratefulness and graciousness.
(2) This song is easily Aaron's most famous song. It established him as a singer and made him widely popular-- even though it was in Mandarin Chinese (as opposed to Cantonese).
