Singer Park Jaebum went out as a day-to-day teacher along with American pop sensation Ne-Yo for musician wannabes, donating his talent.

At Seoul Apgujung's Hyundae Main Mall Cultural Center Art H on the 28th, Park Jaebum and Ne-Yo opened their 'Dream Academy'.

'Dream Academy' was a place for students in a monetarily difficult situation wanting to be musicians, passing on messages of hope as well as musician know-hows, and it was known that 80 students sponsored by Hyundae Mall's charity group had attended.

The first day-to-day teacher, Park Jaebum, created a warm atmosphere with the telling of his episodes as well as honest encouragement and advice with the theme '(you) have to honestly enjoy it'.

Park Jaebum told his truthful story with, "I hadn't dreamt of being a singer since I was young. I just liked music and dance and enjoyed it honestly, so I think that became a firm base to becoming a singer. Truthfully, just a few years ago, I wasn't able to sing as well as I can now. I still am not as much a skillful musician as Ne-Yo is, but I think the reason I could come this far is that I didn't think practice hard, but thought of it optimistically and always enjoyed it."



Also, having attended the continuing Ne-Yo's lecture as a student and listening intently in a serious stature, Park Jaebum created a hearty time with Ne-Yo with a Q&A session after the lecture.

Especially, Park Jaebum became a special translator for Ne-Yo, and also showed his beatboxing for a female student who'd auditioned on the spot with rapping, showing his capability as a true day-to-day teacher with Ne-Yo.

Park Jaebum revealed his feelings about this, saying, "It's an honor just to stand on the concert opening stage of Ne-Yo, the musician I've always been a fan of and respect, and I'm so happy to be together at a meaningful event like this. I was touched because in person, Ne-Yo was a much cooler person than I'd anticipated. I was surprised because he showed his politeness, warmth, and coolness even though he was superstar that receives love worldwide. I'll try hard to show a much cooler self with the upcoming opening stage at Ne-Yo's concert."

Having held a fan signing with the students lastly, Park Jaebum will be decorating the stage as a solo performance at upcoming Ne-Yo's Korean concert opening at 8PM on the 30th at Seoul's Olympic Gymnastics Gymnasium.
