2011 Leader of the Year – Andy Lau

2011 Leader of the Year presentation ceremony, organized by Sing Tao News Corporation Limited’s Sing Tao Daily, Hong Kong Headlines and The Standard was held at Grand Hyatt Hong Kong Hotel last night. Sing Tao News Corporation Limited first started Leader of the Year in 1994 to commend individuals whom had outstanding success and contribution to Hong Kong for the past year, encouraging young generaton to follow the footsteps of these leaders, learn their will of continuity improvements, this is the 18th year of the awards. The special guests were Chief Secretary for Administration Lam Sui-lung Stephen and Sing Tao News Corporation Limited’s chairman Charles Ho Tsu Kwok. There are four different award category namely Commerce & Industry / Finance, Community / Public Affairs, Education / Culture and Sports / Culture / Performing Arts.

The winners for the Sports / Culture / Performing Arts category were director Ann Hui and famous actor cum film producer Andy Lau.
