Paul Wong discovered to have submitted marriage application to marry Athena Chu

48 year old Paul Wong (member of Beyond) has been through a tough 13 year relationship with 40 year old Athena Chu. The couple mutually supported each other through the years and their love marathon finally concludes at the end of this year. Once they finish their current jobs, they will be officially tying the knot. Earlier this year, Athena suddenly made an announcement of her 'surprised' pregnancy, which messed up their initial marriage plans. On the day that Athena announced that she was pregnant, Paul promised he'll give his girlfriend status by the end of the year.

Yesterday [Oriental Daily] visited the marriage registration office, and discovered that Paul submitted the notice of intended marriage to the office on August 24th. According to law, a couple has to give written notice within three months before they could officially be a married couple. Earlier Paul revealed Athena is expected to due around Christmas, but it was understood the couple should expect to become parents in November. In other words, they are in a hurry to marry before their baby is born. Athena's 41st birthday is also on October 25th. With the birthday in October, the marriage and newborn sometime in November, it is 'triple happiness' for the couple!

Regarding Paul and Athena tying the knot before the end of the year, Paul's manager expressed: "Everything is in planning." His manager also thanked the media for all the concern on behalf of the couple, and it is not convenient for her to reveal the exact date of marriage. She said Paul is still on a tight schedule now: "Paul is busy working on dubbing for a film, and his jobs will be nonstop." She expressed Athena's pregnancy is doing very well: "After all, whether if its about the pregnancy or marriage, Paul is trying to accommodate as much as possible."

Him Law celebrates Tavia Yeung's birthday by sleeping

Yesterday (8/30th) Him Law, Francis Ng, Ron Ng and Fala Chen were shooting in the late evening at the airport for TVB new series Triumph in the Skies II. August 30th is rumored girlfriend Tavia Yeung's 33rd birthday. When reporters asked if he knew what day 8/30th was? Him quickly answered: "Tavia Yeung's birthday." Reporters expressed they just wanted to remind him that it's July 14th, Chinese Ghost Festival. Him was immediately embarrassed! (*TN: It's also Niki Chow's birthday. Same day, month and year as Tavia.)

When asked how he's celebrating with Tavia? Him said: "No [celebration], just treat her a meal. I already sent a SMS wishing her a happy birthday, but we're both busy working and have to check the schedules first. (Candle light dinner?) No, I like lively atmosphere, but ultimately its the birthday girl's decision. (Personally cook for her?) Good idea, but I rarely cook. (What kind of gift did you get her?) No need. (She wants a ring.) I read the news, she didn't say that. (What will you give her then?) If I find something suitable, don't have to wait until her birthday. It's part of having good manners to get a gift, its a good thing."

Him's 28th birthday was on August 28th, he expressed he didn't have any special celebrations, just spent the day working on TITS2. He said: "I only had 5 hours of sleep in the last three days. I was shooting several outdoor scenes on my birthday and celebrated the day with a large group of colleagues. (Make up the birthday celebration with Tavia?) If I have time off, I would rather sleep. I don't like others celebrating with me. (But Tavia doesn't think that way.) If she treats me a meal, I would take it!"

Yesterday at the airport, the cast attracted a large group of tourists surrounding the location. There are several new cast members in the sequel such as Fala, Chilam Cheung, Him and Rebecca Zhu. Francis was asked what he thought of the 'newcomers' performances? He said shooting goes by fast, so he couldn't make any conclusions. Asked if the shooting process this time is going smoother than last time? Francis frankly expressed shooting has never gone smoothly, there will always be some problem. When speaking of the Miss HK's 'one vote per person' server crash, Francis expressed he followed the news too and believed every new concept will have to go through difficult testing and challenges.

Ron Ng reveals he'll be shooting in England with the Miss HK winners soon. He is especially excited because he has never been to England before. He expressed the initial plan was to shoot in Spain, which is a place he really likes due to soccer, but unfortunately it was later changed to England.

Fala supports All-Citizen Re-Vote for Miss HK

Fala started her career from a beauty pageant (MCI), when asked about the server crash during the Miss HK 'one vote per person'? She expressed she hasn't been in HK, but she still heard about the news and felt it was an unexpected incident. Fala supports doing a re-vote because this increases audience's participation and the ratings. It was said Miss HK winner Carat Cheung does not deserve the title? Fala frankly expressed there are comparisons every year because each individual has their own favorite. HK citizens can express their thoughts online, it is just a matter of how you look at the these comments. All 10 contestants have their supporters, so it's hard to say. Fala believes those who didn't win should not feel discouraged because the Miss HK winner may not necessarily be the only one that develops well in the industry, the most important is to be able to enter the industry and get a contract signed. She said: "Back then, I was just the first runner-up and now I'm like Samantha Ko (2008 Miss HK), having very good development."

No Sleep for Roger Kwok and Joey Meng Due to Rush of Filming

Joey laughingly said that, having Roger as a partner, extremely happy even if filming series is labourious.

Roger hasn't slept for 48 hours...looks weary.

Joey, who hasn't filmed series for a long time, enjoys working.

TVB artistes Roger Kwok and Joey Meng went to Disneyland Park to do location filming for the series "Cousin, You Are Good", attracting a large group of tourists surrounding them to take pictures. The storyline was talking about Roger and Joey bringing a group of children to the park to play. It could be seen that Roger and Joey looked weary when working, as they haven't slept for many days due to the rush to film the series. After finishing all-night filming, would then immediately follow with location filming...considerably labourious.

Not Enough Sleep for Joey Meng: Playing Drifting

Yesterday, after finishing all-night filming in the early morning, Roger Kwok and Joey Meng immediately went to Disneyland Park to continue filming for the series "Cousin, You Are Good". Roger and Joey looked weary. Roger actually hasn't slept for 48 hours; he frankly said that, in the past ten years, hasn't experienced such tight filming. When asked whether he has complained to the producer, he said, "Yes. Actually, the producer is already very considerate! These few days, couldn't even make it in time to return home...couldn't see my son. Recently, he would ask when seeing me, 'You're going to work again tomorrow?' The weather is hot, and there are many action scenes...really very tiring and labourious. This morning, after seeing the sun, almost fainted! Do not dare to tell my son that I'm going to Disneyland to film...afraid that he would make a fuss about wanting to come!"

As for Joey, she has only slept for 45 minutes in the past three days. She laughingly said that, when walking, legs are also unstable...as if they are drifting: "Now, have been trained to sleep wherever [I] go. Rushing to film this week, so more labourious. Before, it was okay. Filming is like this. Can handle it...also happier having Roger as a partner!"

Nicholas Tse's rescue scene has thrill at every turn

The Nicholas Tse Ting Fung, Lau Ching Wan, Mini Yang Mi starred THE BULLET VANISHES (SIU SUT DIK JI DAN) will be released on September 13 in Hong Kong. Yang Mi in the film played a fortune teller with a bird. Because of the information she provided Tse Ting Fung enemies showed up at her doorstep. Ting Fung risked his life to save her and fought off the enemies. Finally he saved her with his invincible shooting.

For this scene, a thug who was trying to kill Yang Mi beat her until her face was swollen. The team at first hoped to create Yang Mi's injuries with special effect make up. During the shoot however the thug punched toward Yang Mi, who was not able to dodge it in time and her face instantly became swollen.

In another scene, Yang Mi needed to be thrown to the ground then kicked. The scene was shot five or six times before director Law Chi Leung was satisfied. Poor Yang Mi's head hit the ground hard time and time again and Law Chi Leung's heart could not ache more. Finally he could not help but run over to see whether Yang Mi was truly injured. The professional yang Mi only boldly told the director, "I am fine, don't worry about me. Keep shooting!"

Ting Fung did not have an easy time in this shoot either. He had to fight two thugs. For realism, all the actors fought hard. After the shoot Ting Fung could not be more tired.

The thugs who took a beating from Ting Fung rammed toward a light box and a glass window and needed wires for the shoot. The detail minded Ting Fung in order to ensure the extra's safety asked them to be very careful time and again and to watch his gesture and react. For the glass breaking scene, two extras went backward and the glass shattered, covering Tse Ting Fung all over. Some almost hit Ting Fung's eyes. He and Yang Mi for this "heroic rescue" scene truly have suffered.

Gordon Liu hopes to stand again

Martial art star Gordon Liu (Lau Ka Fai) after a fall in August last year suffered a stroke and was hospitalized. After a year of therapy, Lau Ka Fai is recovering. According to friends, he has been actively accepting physical therapy in hopes of standing up again and bring back "Lau Ka Fai".

Last year Lau Ka Fai was hospitalized, the condition was severed as he was rumored to be half paralyzed; the always agile star became disillusioned. He transferred from Queen Elizabeth Hospital to Kowloon hospital for treatment, due to a stroke he was immobile.

The 57 year old Lau Ka Fai months ago was admitted into a care and attention homes for the elderly. Earlier Lau Ka Fai's friends and relatives took him to a nearby restaurant for dim sum. Lau Ka Fai was in a wheelchair and friends pushed him out of the home. He wore a baseball cap, medical mask, a polo shirt, pajamas bottom and sneakers. Although he was much slimmer than before, he appeared to be in decent spirit. Friends and relatives spent over a hour at afternoon tea with him before pushing the wheelchair bound Lau Ka Fai back to the home.

Because Lau Ka Fai declined outside contact after hospitalization, only a few industry insiders were able to visit him and rumors about his condition were numerous. Reportedly Lau Ka Fai after the stroke was paralyzed on the right side of his body, less than mobile and slurring in speech. Among the friends who were with Lau Ka Fai were good friend and assistant Eva; reportedly Eva was also Amy Fan Yik Man's assistant. The reporter contacted Amy for an understanding. Amy said that several days ago she also visited Lau Ka Fai and his recovery has been going great.

Amy said that Brother Ka Fai was in recovery. In comparison to his condition after the stroke last year he has made tremendous progress already. He could stand. Why he was in a wheelchair in and out of the home? She said that Brother Ka Fai was actively accepting physical therapy. Due to a stroke he was not as mobile as before but his mobility has already improved. Due to the distance from the home to the restaurant it was more difficult for him to walk, so the wheelchair was more convenient. As for slurring speech, Amy said, "When Brother Ka Fai wants to talk he talks very orderly and clearly, especially when it is a topic that he likes. When he gets frustrated and doesn't want to talk, he would simply say 'keep quiet', 'very frustrated' and even turn silent. Every time he hears his co-workers miss him, he would happily smile."

Amy also said that Eric Tsang Chi Wai's visit was a huge encouragement. Chi Wai gave him an iPad, now everyday he would watch his movies and listen to songs. He loved to sing the Grasshoppers' PARADISE LOST (SUT LOK YUEN). He needed care very much. After Chi Wai's visit his confidence was greatly increased. Everyday he would work hard on physical therapy. Amy did not talk to him about work, but right now he is very positive. Of course he wanted to completely recover and return to work.

Lau Ka Fai reportedly had family trouble and his family did not take care of him? Amy was uncertain about other people's family matter and was not at liberty to discuss, but as far as she understood Lau Ka Fai's finances had no problem. Due to his great relationships with industry insiders, many friends have offered to help.

The reporters also contacted his assistant Eva. She said that Lau Ka Fai's physical theraphy has made huge progress. She could help him walk for awhile and he was not paralyzed as rumored. As for rumors about Lau Ka Fai's condition, she said that the condition was that bad. Making him sound pitiful would affect the patient as well. He now has many suitable care and many people's care. Everyone ewants to see him stand up again and recover to the Lau Ka Fai of before.

Lau Ka Fai last year worked on TVB's WISH AND SWITCH (WOON LOK MO KUNG) but was recast due to the hospitalization. He still is a TVB contract artist. Artist resource director Elaine Lok Yi Ling said that she has always kept up with Lau Ka Fai's condition and knew he had progress. He has not asked the company for assistance and only wanted some private space to recover.

The Performing Artist Guild pointed out that Lau Ka Fai for now did not want any outside contact. The stuntman reunion's stunt people wanted to visit him but Lau Ka Fai did not want to yet. Tsang Chi Wai has set up a fund, as long as Lau Ka Fai's family had needs he would gladly assist.

Lan Kwai Fong 2 neglects safety in Mongkok

The film LAN KWAI FONG 2 (HEI OI YEH PO 2)'s actors Kelvin Kwan Chor Yiu, Shiga Lin Si Nga, "Ma Model" Mia, Avis Chan Wai Sing and others two nights ago reprised the "walk backward" scene in Mongkok but did not arrange for any security, only a few workers formed human chain to protect the artists. Of course in the end it was not too useful as the crowd flocked. In order to take photos or to catch a glimpse of the artists they pushed and shoved, blond young people began to exchange foul language. The scene was extremely chaotic and completely neglected the people and the media's safety.

As for walking in the crowd, Mia actually continued to push up three inches of "career line" on her chest and posed for photographers. She said that because she was in the midst of career she could not put away her chest. When the box office reached 6 million she would have to celebrate. She also said that she sensed the passion of the people. Speaking of the foul language, Mia said that she truly was somewhat afraid as she has never seen such chaos. She would suggest security next time. Shiga also said that each girl had male protection. They each had 42 inch chests and studied kung fu. Was she worried about a stampede? Shiga helplessly said, "I never thought about it. This time was completely unexpected. I am very happy to be able to in contact with viewers in such close distance. I haven't been to Mongkok for awhile. I really don't know how it is now." Mia also said that next time they might promote indoors. The film company could also plan a little better.

Director Wilson Chin Kwok wai said that he knew nothing before hand. He thought public relations would provide security. Were they trying to save money? He had no idea. Actually he too would have brought out the foul language. This time must be looked at in detail.

Daniel Chan works around streaking

Daniel Chan Hiu Tung in the film WE NOT NAUGHTY (HAI JI BUT WAI) played a loving teacher CK. In one scene he streaked to fulfill a promise he made to the students. During the shoot, Chan Hiu Tung only wore a pair of underwear. At first the director joked, "The special effect costs a lot of money, it's not like you don't have a butt. Since you have one, just shoot it!" Chan Hiu Tung struggled for a long time before hand. Luckily his fans saved him and asked the director to try to show from the back. The long range shot felt like he was naked and after the censorship blocks it would be nude.

Chan Hiu Tung said that the location was remote and very windy. After several hours he was covered in goose bumps; however he was confident that he was very strong and would not caught a cold.

Niki Chow's 33rd birthday, still an 18 year old inside

Yesterday Niki Chow, Mandy Wong and Vincent Wong started their first day of filming for TVB new series A Good Heart Goes Haywire. Tomorrow is Niki's 33rd birthday (August 30th), so Mandy and Vincent prepared a birthday cake to celebrate with her. The child star (Lam Wing Yu), who played the young Niki in Bottled Passion, brought a birthday gift for her as well.

Niki reveals her birthday is coincidentally on the same day as the Chinese Ghost Festival (July 14th, Lunar Calendar). She decided to celebrate with her family early and comforted herself: "Nothing is taboo for young people. Can't do anything about coincidences. As I get older, I don't want any big celebrations, but I still maintain a mental age of 18 years old! (Do you have to work on your birthday?) Yes! I didn't take a day off or anything, it would be best if the crew automatically gives me the day off. Actually the majority of my time is shooting with Bosco Wong, wait until he comes back to HK first, not sure when that is though. (Any pursuers that asked you out?) Nope, just friends and family taking up all my time. Also, I have a lot of jobs and I got a pimple today on my forehead as a gift!"

The single Niki reveals its not her first birthday without a boyfriend, so she's used to it. When speaking of her birthday wish, Niki smiled: "Don't ask me when I'm going to start dating, so stressful! But, if I'm really am dating and the relationship is stable, I would admit it. (Any one-night stands during your trip to Europe?) No! They are all people I know." Asked if she conveniently brought a wedding gift for her sister Kathy Chow, who is getting married next month? Niki expressed she didn't and avoided to respond to questions related to her sister's marriage. "I didn't schedule anything, just let her marry peacefully and happily! If she wants to say it, then she'll say it. I'm following orders, I cannot answer questions on her behalf."

Joe Ma's thoughts on his female co-stars: Ada Choi, Charmaine Sheh, Flora Chan & Sonija Kwok

Joe Ma has been said to have vigorous peach blossoms (girls), indeed he has had countless rumors since his debut. Almost all of the female artists he had worked with gets a rumor with him. Of course, time proves everything, many of his so-called rumored girlfriends are in fact his good friends.

JOE: Many people call me a "FaDan Killer". Actually Moses Chan has that title too! Haha! Honestly, there are just two types of rumors in this industry, two artists are dating or two artists are on bad terms. Well, I rarely have any bad term rumors, it's usually just dating rumors!

I've worked with many actresses, such as Maggie Cheung, Jessica Hsuan, Ada Choi, Charmaine Sheh, Sonija Kwok, Flora Chan, and many more. Let's talk a little bit about Ada Choi. She's a very good artist to learn from because she treats people very well. She makes the people around her feel comfortable and because I'm a Cancer and I've been a police officer before, I'm very defensive. That's why I don't have many friends, she is the one who opened me up.

I still remember one time we had to shoot early in the morning in the studio. That time I lived in Yuen Long, and couldn't awake up. At the time, I was shooting the series with her, so I called her right away. I told her I overslept and I'm flying over there. Ada heard this and immediately said: "Whatever you do, don't speed! I'll put on my makeup slowly and try to stall a little." Before she hangs up, she asked me if I had breakfast yet. She's really that good of a person!

As for Charmaine, I collaborated with her in several series. The first one should be in 2001 Country Spirit. People say she's always letting out her 'electricity', but I only feel one thing about her, she's just amazing. She is the only person I've seen that could withstand working overnight. We could get our days and nights confused, but she still manages to maintain the same good looks, nothing changes. She's an actress that never gets overworked! Sometimes we shoot continuously through the nights, she says she's very tired, but she still looks so awake and high spirited. I think she's just a natural beauty, haha! Also, Charmaine's EQ is extremely high. She has a very good temper and sometimes when she hears negative comments, she'll just laugh it off. You will never see her upset. This is the deepest impression Charmaine left on me.

Sonija Kwok is a person that can really eat. That time we were shooting for several months in Mainland. The environment in Mainland is pretty hard, but she didn't complained at all. She has a straightforward personality.

My wife in Triumph in the Skies, Flora Chan, she's actually technically my senior. That time, she was already very popular. She taught me a lot. I remember when we were shooting the first scene in TITS, it was pretty intimate. She said I don't have to mind at all, just put my hands on her. In fact, sometimes in kiss scenes, the actor is actually not unnatural than the actress. After all, men can easily get misunderstood. If the actress is as open as Flora, then you feel a lot more comfortable to do the scene.

Ekin Cheng announces he's marrying Yoyo Mung next year

Last night at Ekin Cheng's final show of his Hong Kong Coliseum concert, Ekin was pressured to announce his plans to marry girlfriend Yoyo Mung next year. Ekin's parents, girlfriend Yoyo and good friends Angela Tong, 'Young and Dangerous' brothers Jordon Chan, Chin Kar Lok, Jerry Lamb, Jason Chu and director Lau Wai Keung all supported him at the concert.

On stage, Ekin's brothers chatted happily and then switched the topic onto Ekin's love life. Chin Kar Lok said: "You promised me before that you will have something to say tonight!" The crowd immediately went wild after Kar Lok made that comment. Ekin answered: "Yes, say that you're getting married!" Jordon interrupted him: "Let me say it, but you can't be upset, please welcome Yoyo Mung!" Ekin initially tried to wave his hands telling them to stop, but Jordon kept going and invited Yoyo up on stage. Ekin immediately stopped him: "Ok! I will say it myself. My girlfriend and I are very personal, I don't like to take our relationship out and let people see it! I admit I'm a very romantic person, otherwise how can I sing love songs to everyone?" However, the audience were displeased by Ekin's answer and kept booing him.

Then the special guest Leo Ku suddenly comes on stage, he said: "Today the producer called me and said why don't I give Ekin a surprise. He said you're going to make an announcement tonight that I'm invited to your banquet." Ekin smiled embarrassed, but Leo continued: "I said invite me to his celebration banquet! How about this, I won't say the word 'marry', I'll say 'dodo' instead. Everyone repeat after me, Ekin and Yoyo dodo!" Ekin laughed: "If I dodo, then I will definitely invite you!"

Later, Ekin accepted an interview and when speaking of all the pressure his brothers gave him and he still wasn't willing to announce the marriage news? He said: "After all, I'm not married yet. If I do get married, I will definitely let you all know." After reporters asked Ekin again and again when he's going to admit it, he finally said: "It will be next year, but I won't say when and where. This is very personal to me." As for Yoyo, she accepted an interview over the phone and had difficulty covering her joy, when asked if Ekin ever officially proposed to her? She said: "He did half of it, the other half he'll do it when he has free time." She stressed Ekin is focused on his work and hopes the public can put the attention on her boyfriend's career instead.

Gordon Liu recovering from stroke, Mrs. Liu rumored money hungry taking all of his assets

Gordon Liu (real name: Sin Kam Hei) was hospitalized last year due to having a stoke. Last month it was rumored because he's seriously ill, his second wife from Thailand had a scheme to take all of Gordon's assets, which includes a several million dollar property. As this damages her reputation, yesterday Mrs. Liu and her son (Kris Sin) speaks out from Thailand for the first time. She said she never had the motive to take Gordon's assets and exposed beginning last month, someone prevented her children from seeing their father. She was furious by this and decided to stand up for them and hope her children can see their father soon!

Gordon is a famous martial arts actor, he has been in showbiz for nearly 30 years. He became an international known star based on Hollywood film Kill Bill. Last August, Gordon accidentally fell and suffered a stroke. He had partial right-sided paralysis and speech impairment as a consequence of the stroke. The strong and robust Gordon was greatly impacted from this accident and stroke. At one point, he was depressed and isolated himself, but fortunately he eventually got out of the haze. This year, Gordon's physical therapy has been going smoothly and made improvements in the recovery. The only trouble he's facing is the recent rumor that Mrs. Liu directed her children (Kris and Sonia Sin) to ask their sick father for money and even wanted to swallow his 800 square feet property, which currently holds a market price of over HK$7.5 million. Regarding to the negative news, the low-key Mrs. Liu had to break out from her silence and accepted an exclusive [Oriental Daily] interview yesterday with her son. They did the interview with [Oriental Daily] all the way from Thailand.

R - Reporter ; Mrs. Liu - Gordon Liu's second wife ; S - Kris Sin, the son.

R: There has been a lot of rumors lately. It was reported you're money hungry and want to take all of Gordon's money while he's sick?

Mrs. Liu: There is no such thing! I came with him to Hong Kong in 1991 and we were married then. We have a son and daughter, but unfortunately after we had our youngest daughter, we realized our personalities didn't really match. He likes to drink and has a playboy personality. All along, I've just relied on my religion and concentrated on raising my children to maintain the marriage. Until 2009, Gordon said he wanted to send our son to Singapore for his studies, and I thought, isn't it time to start a new life? So, under Gordon's arrangements, I signed the divorce contract. At the time, I told him I'm willing to get a divorce, but our oldest son's name must be added to the property, giving him half of the ownership. I just hoped my children have some security and then I went back to live in Thailand.

R: Are you and Gordon officially divorced then?

Mrs. Liu: I'm not sure myself. I already called the HK lawyer, [he/she] said Gordon got a new lawyer, so I couldn't get any answers.

R: After Gordon had the stroke, did you visit him back in HK? Did you ask him for money?

Mrs. Liu: After he had the stroke, I immediately went back to HK to look after him. Because I'm not doing too well financially, I borrowed $20,000 from a relative to use as living expenses. Actually when we signed the divorce papers, I didn't ask for a penny, why would I be hungry for his money! It is just because a few years ago I had ineffective turnover from my business and have borrowed $30,000 from Gordon. At the time, Gordon didn't get the stroke yet. After he suffered from the stroke, I have never asked him for any money nor have I asked him to change the house title to my name.

R: It was said you wanted to bring Gordon back to Thailand for treatment?

Mrs. Liu: Actually I already suggested for Gordon to get treatment in Thailand in March. After all, its more convenient for me to look after him in Thailand. However, from then on, someone did whatever they could to prevent me from sending Gordon over here, but since I separated with Gordon, I didn't persist on. Up until the end of last month, someone was trying to prevent my children from visiting their father. Also, all those negative rumors started circulating then. I just feel its necessary for me to speak up this time! Firstly, I want to clarify the false reports and secondly, I hope my children can visit their father because its a very normal matter for children to see their father.

R: When was it, where you could no longer visit your father Gordon Liu?

S: Last November. I went to HK from Singapore and went to visit my father as usual in the late evening. I hope he gets well soon, but starting March of this year when my mom suggested that we bring my father back to Thailand, there were a lot of strange rumors that started circulating. Late last month, someone transferred my father to the nursing home without notifying me. I tried a lot of different methods to find out where my father was living. I wanted to visit him, but the nurses stopped me at the door. The nurse said my father doesn't want to see anyone. I don't know what is happening, I just want to visit my father! I really want to know my father's current condition!

R: How are you and your mom doing financially now?

S: Last year when my father had the stroke, I decided to take 1 year off from school and go back to take care of my father and younger sister. Although my father gives us $5,000 a month for living expenses, through his manager, we still want to reduce the financial burden. I'm currently working as a waiter. We are doing fine now.

R: Gordon has always loved his children very much?

Mrs. Liu: Yes, very! Whatever our children wanted, if Gordon could afford it, he would buy it for them. Each week, he takes them out. On their birthdays, he would throw a huge birthday party and make them very happy.
