William Chan reveals Patrick Tam's Mob Power Loss

William Chan Wai Ting, Derek Tsang Kwok Cheung and Edward Chui Woai Tung in the Emperor film TRIAD (JAT JIK) played different level Wise Guys. The trio in order to play their roles well did their homework, during the shoot they once were mistaken for real Wise Guys! William revealed in an interview a small secret of Patrick Tam Yiu Man. William said, "When we were on the location shoot we ran into real mob figures who collected protection money. When real and fake Wise Guys were in the same place, the feeling was very hard to describe. Tam Gung (Tam Yiu Man) who was played the boss immediately left his character, but after that he needed some time to be able to get back into the character. Because when it happened the extras who played his subordinates in the film all left, it was very hard to get back into it again."

William gave his all to play the Wise Guy role. On his first day he was beaten until his mouth and face were swollen. William said, "I told my co-stars to fight their hardest, after one punch I was already dizzy. Then they still had to hit for several hours, half my face was swollen!" Because half his face was bruised, the director at first thought was make up and asked William to lighten his make up. William did not know whether to laugh or to cry. Did his girlfriend Charlene Choi Cheuk Yin's heart ache? William sounded like a chauvinist. "What a man does at work is none of the woman's business, no matter who consoles me my work won't be affected."

Aside from a lot of fighting, the film of course has brotherly love. William, Tsang Kwok Cheung and others praised each other for their loyalty. Tsang Kwok Cheung said, "Earlier when I directed LOVER's DISCOURSE (LUEN YU SHUI YU), he worked for 48 hours without sleep and still came over to help me. I haven't heard a single complaint from him, he is very loyal."

Julian Cheung thinks he is his Son's number one Idol

The film NATURAL BORN LOVERS (TIN SUN OI CHING KONG) director Patrick Kong (Yip Lim Sum) and actors Julian Cheung Chi Lam, Annie Liu (Lau Sum Yau) and Sukie Shek Wing Lei yesterday promoted in West Kowloon. When the leads played games with fans, a male fan even pretended to kiss Sum Yau. Admitting that he was very tired from his series production, Chi Lam who only attended with a shell of himself noticed the news that Lo Fun came in eighth among the Golden goddess survey and ahead of Sum Yau. He joked that after yesterday Sum Yau was able to get ahead.

Earlier Chi Lam publicly scolded a TVB production assistant and led to an overwhelming response. He denied that he would have to host a make up banquet and did not want to talk about the matter anymore. In the film, Chi Lam said that he was a jerk in Sum Yau's eyes, but his girlfriend has never called him a jerk because they were able to remain friends after breaking up. His wife Anita Yuen Wing Yi not only would not call him a jerk but worship him more and more. He said confidently, "She like to watch my performance and listen to my songs, she is my number one fan. (Are you your son's number one idol?) Right, recently the character he played at school was a pilot. (Maybe he likes Francis Ng Chun Yu?) At the time he wasn't born yet." Children often played pilots and fire fights. Chi Lam admitted, "Maybe I thought too much!" He also said that when TRIUMPH IN THE SKIES 2 will air he will permit his son to watch. He even showed his intimate scene with Fala Chen so he could learn about acting early on. In addition, this time the film company made 1,000 1:6 figures of Sum Yau. Each sold for HK$800. When Sum Yau posted with the figure and Chi Lam, he said, "I really want to look under its dress, what a pervert."

Sum Yau two nights ago with the director, Ava Yu Kiu and Shek Wing Lei gave away postcards in Mongkok to promote the film. Sum Yau who has rarely been to Mongkok was very excited to see so many people, and said that recently she learned fencing and would be able to protect herself and reporters. She even boasted that she was even more agile than her bodyguards. Did she have a sword on her? She said, "I have a sword in my heart." Sum Yau said that she once worked on a film in Mongkok, due to too many onlookers taking photos the production progress was hindered. Thus two nights ago she was already prepared mentally; she still praised the fans for being very nice and not trying to do anything excessive with her. She also revealed that in her school day she ran into a flasher and was stunned, he looked very pleased. She already learned fencing to protect herself and believed that she would not be afraid if she ran into another pervert again. In addition, this was Yu Kiu's first film. However her first line was already foul language. She even had to call Chi Lam "PK, a kept man and has AIDS". She said that in real life she would at most call guys jerks or no girl would like them. She absolutely would not use foul language.

Chow Yun Fat teaches Huang Xiaoming how to hold a gun

The film THE LAST TYCOON (DAI SEUNG HOI) earlier officially released a minute long trailer. Two generations of Hui Man Keung, Chow Yun Fat and Huang Xiaoming, both picked up a gun and swept across the Bund on the big screen. Viewers who have seen this trailer could not be more excited. In it Huang Xiaoming first held a knife then a gun. He originally thought that he knew how to hold a gun, but with "Gun God" Fat Gor he almost forgot how to use a gun. Andrew Lau Wai Keung said that he "could not be weaker" with his gun holding posture, he could not even draw his gun several times when the cameras rolled. Luckily Fat Gor not only constantly provided him with a variety of guidance but also taught him how to use a gun on the set.

Actually Xiaoming was afraid that he would not play the mob boss role well. He constantly asked Fat Gor for help as soon as he had the time. After Fat Gor learned that Xiaoming's father liked A BETTER TOMORROW (YING HUNG BOON SIK) very much, he dragged Xiaoming to teach him even better gun poses and even displayed the "Mark Gor" performance. He taught Xiaoming how to make better gun poses in front of the camera and attracted many workers. Director Wong Jing had an even better idea. "I haven't seen Fat Gor like this either, let Fat Gor make you his disciple!" When asked whether he was confident to succeed the "Gun God", Xiaoming said, "Wait until you see the movie then you would know if I am qualified."

In addition, Yolanda Yuan Quan in the end of the trailer appeared for the first time on the Bund to become the first female lead of the film to be unveiled. Yuan Quan had many romantic scenes with Fat Gor. After the shoot, even Fat Gor said that he was no match for her. He joked that he has not concentrated on romantic scenes for years already. He never expected that actresses now are so amazing. He said, "Seemingly I have to call back (his AUTUMN'S TALE character) inside me."

Tong Fei brings Law Chung him on the run

Law Chung Him, Jacqueline Chong Si Man, Philip Ng Won Lung, Oscar Leung Lit Wai and Jazz Lam Chi Sin two nights ago worked on YOUNG AND DANGEROUS RELOADED (GOO WAT JAI: GONG WU SUN DIT JUI) in Tsz Wan Shan. In the scene Uncle B passed away and the brothers met up to discuss revenge. Because the production attracted many from the neighborhood, the crew had to constantly remind onlookers not to hinder the shoot.

For efficiency, the team set up a temporary dressing room in a corner of the playground. However the location was rather open and still attracted onlookers. Playing "Smartie" Tong Fei suddenly emerged from the dressing up. Then she and Him Jai went to Tai Kok Tsui harbor for another shoot. In that scene they were running away on a boat. Boss Wong Jing even personally appeared. The film has kept Tong Fei under wrap all along. Reportedly she would only appear in the film's final scene, leaving room for the film's sequel.

Him Jai revealed that earlier they already shot some of the fight scenes, luckily he was not injured. Playing Chicken's girlfriend Chong Si Man joked that her co-stars were injured. Him Jai said, "Actually we troubled co-stars for rehearsal because it was very easy to get hurt. We only worked on the fight scenes when we are protected and safe." Him Jai said that this was not a fight film, all were street fight scenes so he did not need a double. He also revealed that he played a couple with Hu Ran who played a rich girl.

Chong Si Man revealed that she and Chicken had an ambiguous relationship. At first she was ofte around Chicken and stole all of his girlfriends. Finally they became a couple.
