Moses Chan sparks again with Charmaine Sheh behind Aimee Chan's back

Moses Chan was shooting on the busy streets in Mong Kok for TVB new series 4 In Love, and attracted nearly 500 onlookers surrounding the location. A very lively atmosphere.

Moses said: "This time I'm playing a MK Boy selling electronics in Mong Kok and will continue fate with Charmaine, but I'm not afraid of rumors again!"

Moses praises Charmaine is still connected in the heart with TVB despite having already left the company, so there should be more collaboration opportunities in the future. When speaking of his packed work schedule, and has no time to meet up with 'new love interest' Aimee Chan? He said: "Haven't had time yet, we are both busy shooting, later!"

Just opened a coffee shop in Malaysia, Moses laughed and said his business has not been affected by the world market price increases: "Although the prices are madly rising, there are still a lot of people investing. This proves that there are more and more people liking to drink coffee, which means that I did not enter the wrong industry. (Will you bring Aimee over to Malaysia to have coffee?) We'll see if there is that chance." He reveals that his new store is receiving balanced revenue.

Also, Moses reveals earlier when he didn't have time to try out the positions for the shoot, the director found someone with a similar body figure, Yeung Jing Wah, to be his substitute. No wonder the two were wearing matching outfits that day. They looked exactly like Twins!

[News] 2NE1’s “Ugly” becomes a big hit. Its lyrics criticizes appearance-oriented society

2NE1’s new song “Ugly” became a big hit.

2NE1 would record the biggest hit if “Ugly” ranks at the top because the group’s previous songs, “Don’t Cry,” “Lonely,” “I Am The Best,” and “Hate You,” already swept top ranking on various charts.

2NE1’s songs gain popularity not only in Korea, but also abroad, and fans are looking forward to the official release of “Ugly” after seeing its teaser on the 26th on 2NE1 TV Live: Worldwide.

The lyrics of “Ugly,” which mentions of a damaged heart over other’s criticism on one’s ugly appearance, sends sad emotions unlike its up-tempo melody. Particularly, the line which says, “I’m not pretty. No one loves me. I want to be pretty, too,” makes a bond of sympathy with those who have had complex over their appearance.

Fans comment: “I feel as if CL is talking for me.” “It sounds like a pop song.” “I see that they are trying various genres. I like it.”

2NE1 will begin its concert from August 26 to 28 and will officially debut in Japan in September.

Celebrity Weddings: 40-Year-Old Nnadia Chan Married 32-Year-Old Zhang Duo

Disappearing from the public eye for some time, Nnadia Chan (???) was invited to a book fair by good friend, Di Haoran (???)yesterday. Nnadia announced that she had married mainland actor, Zhang Duo (??). The couple resided in Beijing and Nnadia rarely returned to Hong Kong. Becoming Mrs. Zhang, Nnadia appeared to have gained weight.

When Nnadia filmed in China several years ago, she met mainland actor, Zhang Duo, who was eight years younger than her.  Although the older-woman-younger-man relationship was not regarded highly by the public, Nnadia and Zhang Duo got married against all odds. As early as 2008, it was rumored that the pair traveled to Spain and got secretly married. Rumors claimed that their relationship changed, however Zhang Duo denied this and noted that they had a very good relationship.

Residing in Beijing

Until yesterday at the book fair, Nnadia admitted that she got married with Zhang Duo. Currently living in Beijing, Nnadia focused on caring for the family and cooking in her free time. She did not possess an urge to have a baby yet. Nnadia said happily, “I am in a semi-retired state. Since my husband did not want me to come home late at night and preferred that I entertain friends at home. He offered his advice regarding my current filming project. Right now we are just enjoying married life and not actively chasing a baby. We will let nature run its course.”

Returning to Hong Kong to Film a Series

Nnadia returned to Hong Kong to film an ICAC-based series produced by RTHK. “I have been hiding in Beijing for four years. I returned to Hong Kong two months ago. I found that the lifestyle here is very different than before and was not used to the filming process. Since I maintained contact with RTHK, thus I accepted their offer to participate in a program revolving around the ICAC. I portray a senior investigator in the show and the script is based on a true story.” Nnadia felt that filming a series can bring out a positive public message and contribute to the community. Nnadia claimed to be a “daughter of Hong Kong.”

Michael Tse teaches Cheung Tat Ming how to be a 'Jean Man'

Cheung Tat Ming celebrates his 15th anniversary of being in the industry. The other night, he held his standup comedy show in Hong Kong Coliseum. Cheung was joking the whole night and even pretended to be a girl. He also invited good friend 'Laughing Gor' Michael Tse as his guest, and taught him the secret to getting up top. Later, they mocked the magazine reports trying to 'play to the gallery' (please a group with words/actions to get admiration). Michael said Cheung excessively advertises the good man image, but there is no attraction whatsoever when your out buying groceries. Just as long as you turn into a "Jean Man" (scum), then you will get on the headlines. Michael laughed: "I'm just trying to help you change the topic to 'Extreme Dry of the Century Standup Comedy Man, Fails in Gold Digging', that is how you get up top."

When speaking of the entertainment circle, Cheung felt it's important for artists to be wise when making friends. Like Max Mok gets tempted by a friend into drugs, Edison Chen has no friends that knows computers, that led to the Artist Photo Scandal. Even Shirley Yeung going on a war of words with Ding Yeh after the break up, in fact she should learn from Nicholas Tse, how to make friends with the media. Then he turns to the political circle.

After the show ended, Cheung expressed he's very grateful, first time stepping into HK Coliseum, allowed his career to climb up another level. This is considered having his goal reached. He said: "My report card in the last 15 years, gave me great power to move towards the future." Michael expressed he received Cheung's invitation and agreed to be his guest, but he clearly said beforehand that he will not talk about porn or use profanity.

Cherie Chung has no plans of making a comeback

The friendly actress has yet to receive a role that would make her want to make a comeback
Hong Kong actress Cherie Chung who bowed out of showbiz in the early 90s, showed that she's still a star.

A few days ago, Cherie, dressed in a black laced v-neck dress, was seen at the opening of a jewellery shop in Chong Qing, China. The 51-year-old flashed her trademark smile and looked stunning.

According to a staff member who was at the event, Cherie does not have any airs and would readily smile and greet every one.

It was also said that, when on her trip, Cherie had no special requests and only stayed in a normal suite.

Recently, Cherie's peers like Maggie Cheung and Brigitte Lin are all active in the showbiz. When asked if Cherie had anything lined up, the actress laughed and said, "Well, I'm already here, aren't I? I don't come without a reason."

Will Cherie be making a comeback then?

The actress expressed that although many directors have approached her over the years, but with no suitable roles available, she has no plans to participate in any movies as yet.

Cherie's husband passed away due to colon cancer four years ago. When asked about her current relationship status, the actress replied in her less than perfect Mandarin, "Let's not talk about this."

Just when Cherie was about to take her leave, someone in the crowd shouted, "I hope you will be happy!"

Upon hearing that, the actress turned around with a smile and said, "Thank you!"

Fala Chen declares her happiness: I'll have two children

Women life goal is to find a good husband, if he can 'enter the kitchen and come out to the hall', or in other words be able to cook and have manners, then for sure his score will be higher. In Sharon Chan's eyes, Fala Chen is definitely a 'good seal's with her good cooking skills. Currently in great happiness, Fala has her future all planned out. She wants to have two children and will use all her lifetime energy to raise them.

SHARON: I remember back then after you completed the Miss Chinese International Pageant and entered TVB, we were under the same manager. At the time you were unfamiliar with everything and didn't have anyone with you in HK, so our manager told me to watch over you. I even brought you clothes before!

FALA: Yeah, because when I was in the U.S. I was always dressed in tank tops, shorts and flip flops. You told me artists can't be like that.

SHARON: We don't have many collaborations, but you are really good, remember all the details. You remembered what brand lip gloss I liked, and it just so happened you had that company sponsoring. You especially left one for me, felt so warm.

FALA: Haha, friends don't have to always see each other. We have things in common, like we both like cats. If I were to describe myself, I would not say I'm a street cat, we are both tough and independent, street cats are mean and use their claws. I much rather say home (Outside cold, inside warm?) Yes, many people think I'm cold, but if we are on the right key, I can easily get along with you.

An All-Around Stew, Concentrate on Raising Kids

SHARON: I see you as a good wife, you are very good at cooking and always studying. You're just amazingly good! In the middle of the night, you'll randomly make a pizza.

FALA: Hahah, well sometimes when I get off work at 3-4am, I get home really hungry and would look everywhere for something to eat. There usually isn't anything in the fridge, then I would get out ingredients that I usually buy to keep in handy, like Japanese noodles. Sometimes just add an egg into it and there you have it.

SHARON: Then how did you learn to cook? Read books or asked someone to teach you?

FALA: I do buy books, and my mom is really good at cooking too, when I was young I liked to help my mom cut stuff. (What do you make best?) Braised beef noodles, from stew to simmering, I do it all myself. The texture of the noodles needs to be just right, and I even have soup too. Many friends after eating my cooking said I could start a restaurant. I can do Western dishes too.

SHARON: You can really 'enter the kitchen, go out to the hall'! One day I really need go over to your house and have dinner, learn how to be a good wife too. You really are all-around.

FALA: In fact, it's very simple. But for pizza, I am still learning how to make layered crust, I can't do the finging (tossing). My oven at home is too small and not hot enough, so can't make the crust be dry on top and crisp on bottom.

SHARON: Will you have children?

FALA: Yes. I love children, but it's a big responsibility, have to have the patience and it is a very deep knowledge. Back then when my mom was raising me, she used a lot of energy. Although I'm an only child, in the future I hope to have 2 children because two is fun, just one would be too quiet.

Maintaining a relationship is definitely not easy

SHARON: People always say Moses Chan is the 'best deal', but I think you are one of the female 'best deals', not that many!

FALA: It's been a while since I've been updated with your relationship status, are you still with that one?

SHARON: Yes! Still the same one from before! Quite happy, how about you?

FALA: I'm still the same also!

SHARON: Don't you feel that artists have it more difficult to maintain a relationship than normal people? I think so!

FALA: I think so, but right now I won't mind what other people say, just as long as two people know in the heart, that's enough. It's not much influence, but there's not much freedom when going out on dates or going for a walk on the beach. You really have to go to a foreign country to do that! Hong Kong there is very little privacy.

SHARON: My boyfriend went from not being used to it to being able to adapt people taking pictures. To a certain degree, he looks more like an artist than me.

FALA: It's nothing really when I get photographed eating out. It already happened to me a few times. Going out on a date and eating with an artist, the artist must sit with their back facing the front. Calling a taxi is forever not going to be an artist. It's better when the female is the artist. If it was the other way around, the female isn't in the industry, then that be embarrassing.

SHARON: Your boyfriend is considered half in the industry, is it better for him to face cameras?

FALA: In fact, he's not used to it either because he's rather shy and a calm person. When there is suddenly a camera in front of him, he'll get very nervous.

SHARON: Hong Kong is too crowded, can't hold hands on the street. If you want to hold hands, gotta do it at home!

FALA: Today technology is greatly advancing, sometimes people take photos of you with their phones and you won't know. Like when we're on the streets shooting, just turn around and you see the photos online.

The Entertainment Circle is Complicated, Caring is difficult

SHARON: I feel you are a clever girl, you will forever do your own things. You won't gather in one place or follow the crowd blindly, which is very suitable for the entertainment circle because this circle is complicated. You can say that everyone is your friend, but they may not necessary be true to you.

FALA: At first I didn't know any curse words, I heard you say them! You are a very straightforward person. I didn't know Cantonese and you taught me.

SHARON: Then when I don't know the Mandarin, you teach me the pronunciations! We mutually help one another! It is a type of fate that we can become friends. You can have many friends, but it's enough to have a few true ones. In the last few years, I've watched you get better and better, and you're a happy person. You speak Cantonese like a HKer, really improved a lot.

Cecilia Cheung Preparing for Lucas Tse’s Birthday Party

Cecilia Cheung’s (???) good friend, make-up artist, Rick Chin, appeared at a function yesterday. Allegedly, Cecilia was afraid to sign divorce papers with Nicholas Tse (???). Rick said that he has not heard about the rumors. “You have to ask Cecilia about this issue. Of course, in my heart, I want Cecilia and Nicholas to reconcile. I want her heart to be the same as mine. However, that’s not the case.”

Assisting Cecilia with taking care of her two sons, Lucas and Quintus, Rick revealed that Lucas has been attending a summer playgroup. Later, Lucas will be preparing to start school.

Currently, Rick and Cecilia’s manager were preparing for Lucas’ birthday party on August 2nd. Rick revealed, “We have to plan the time accordingly. Cecilia was very happy that she was able to take time off to celebrate Lucas’ birthday.” (Will Cecilia and Nicholas appear in separate time slots at the birthday party?) “That should not be the case. We are uncertain what Nicholas’ arrangements will be. Hopefully, they can appear together, which will make the celebration more complete. Since it is a children’s birthday party, everyone will try to make the gathering happy.”

Asked whether Lucas’ grandparents, Patrick Tse (??)and Deborah Li (???), will attend the birthday party, Rick said, “Yes, yes, yes, but we have not discussed this on the phone yet.” (Who will contact Patrick and Deborah?) “We will do it together.”

"Cheap" Ronald Cheng rumor makes Miriam Yeung laugh

Miriam Yeung Chin Wa attended as the film festival ambassador the unveiling of the the summer international film festival 2011. This year's opening film would be the Taiwan film YOU ARE THE APPLE OF MY EYE, director Giddens Ko (Gau Ba Doh)'s first film; the closing film would be the Woody Allen directed MIDNIGHT IN PARIS. Another animation live action film NINJA KIDS!!! will hold a Cosplay character costume contest.

Chin Wa is recovering from a flu so her voice was still a little hoarse during the interview. However she could not rest in the future because she had to perform a concert in Guangzhou and work on LOVE IN A PUFF 2 (CHUN GIU YU JI MING) for a month in Beijing. She revealed that August 11 would be her wedding anniversary.

Because she will be working on a movie in Beijing, she hoped that her husband will make time from his busy business to celebrate with her. Chin Wa said, "I know he will come to keep my company, but right now he just pretends he doesn't know. That's how he is! (How do you plan to celebrate?) Actually I will be very satisfied if he will just bring soup. The best would having dinner with me." However Chin Wa honestly said that she did not prepare any wedding anniversary gift, only a good birthday gift for her husband.

In addition, Chin Wa's old flame Ronald Cheng Chung Kei recently became a father. However reportedly he only gave his fiancee and their baby 10,000 for living expenses. Chin Wa was asked whether he was as "cheap" as rumored. She said that she was not at liberty to discuss other people's family matter.

As an entertainment news, she said, "He should be good to his wife and child because when he became a father he was very happy during the interviews. He has a sense of family responsibility!" Chin Wa also felt that outsiders should not know how much people pay for living expense so the matter was somewhat mysterious, the more she thought about it the more she laughed.

Him Law promises to celebrate topless

Director Patrick Kong (Yip Lim Sum) two nights ago led LOVE IS THE ONLY ANSER (YUN YUEK LEI FUN HAU) actors Law Chung Him, Jacqueline Chong Si Man, Rose Chan Ka Wun and Kelly Fu Ka Lei to show viewer appreciation and give away film posters in cinemas in Kwun Tong, Tsim Sha Tsui and Mongkok. Law Chung Him hoped that everyone could support local creations and if its box office and word of mouth beat blockbusters, he promised to celebrate topless. He said, "The film has so many girls, we can rent a yacht to go to the sea for them to show what they got. However lately I have taken a step back. Because I have been busy with television, I haven't had time to work out." As for rumored girlfriend Theresa Fu Wing's new book, he heard that it was selling well. Has she given a copy to him? He thought that he should buy one himself in support and would gather a certain amount of friends before buying it together.

Model Chong Si Man said about "pseudo models" promotional attics during the Book Fair period, "This trend is very unhealthy. They are so thick skinned, more criticism would be meaningless. If this trend persists they would only be a bad influence on the next generation. (Who do you feel has crossed the line the more?) I don't know, I have seen many wardrobe malfunction photos. I suspect whether they were deliberate or they were so busy that they did not have time to fix the photos." A "pseudo model" even gave away male potency drugs. She asked, "Is that necessary? It's so embarrassing. (They are not embarrassed?) They are so thick skinned." Speaking of Jeana Ho Pui Yu making enemies all over, she also was not fond of. Since everyone was in the same market, they should not target others. She even criticized Jeana's "dummy chest" was unnatural.

No more dangerous stunt for Nicholas Tse

Nicholas Tse Ting Fung and Jay Chou (Chow Kit Lun) yesterday attended the film THE VIRAL FACTOR (YIK JIN) press conference in Beijing. Ting Fung was in a decent mood and often displayed a smile. Even Chow Kit Lun could not help but praise Ting Fung for his high emotional quotient. If reporters were chasing him he might have already hit a reporter.

Director Dante Lam Chiu Yin yesterday led Chow Kit Lun, Tse Ting Fung, Bai Bing and Lin Peng attended the film's first press conference in Beijing. The film will be released next Lunar New Year. Production videos were played as the four leads' costumes were unveiled. The footage had plenty of Ting FUng and Chow Kit Lun's life risking jump from great heights. Ting Fung yesterday wore a black shirt, jeans and sunglasses. With a chok look all the way, Ting Fung often snickered. During the group photo, Ting Fung even said to Lin Peng, "With sunglasses I can look around without any problem!" The actors talked about their production. Speaking of soaking in the Dead Sea in Jordan, the excessive salt content hurt their rears. Then they had to favor one side as they walked. Chairman Chou joked, "Then you are perfect for singing my 'Chrysanthemum Pavilion'!"

Ting Fung in the film had many dangerous stunts. Aside from jumping from seventh or eighth floor he also had to roll on the ground. He said that he would never do that again because he only had one life. Chairman Chou also said that this has been the most difficult production. The intense action scenes were challenging physically for him. He also praised Ting Fung for not only being cool but also having very high emotional quotient. If not for the reports, he could not tell that something happened to Ting Fung on the set.

Chairman Chou was asked whether his mood was affected when the media descended upon Ting Fung during the shoot. He said no, it only affected Ting Fung from going out. Chairman Chou praised Ting Fung's high emotional quotient. Each time he consoled him, he would say he was "fine". Chairman Chou pointed out that if something happened to him, he might hit a reporter because his emotional quotient was not as high. As the media focused on Ting Fung's marriage troubles, Chairman Chou did not feel it was unfair. He felt that the matter would settle down. Chairman Chou also said that he would work with Ting Fung and Lam Chiu Yin again, but not only an action film. His hand was not for holding a gun but for playing a piano.

Cecilia: "I Will Not Sign Divorce Papers!"

It has been reported that Cecilia Cheung refused to sign divorce papers! Looks like Nicholas Tse is still hanging by the thread. Read on for more juicy details...

Nicholas wants to get it over and done with even though it was initially Cecilia's choice to divorce. Currently, he's very focused on his career and his sons' wellbeing. Therefore, he is in no hurry to get into a new relationship. Furthermore, Nicholas has asked his lawyers to limit restrictions on Cecilia from taking their sons abroad so often for work because he feels that they need stability as they've been missing out on school. So, Cecilia will need to seek his permission first prior to bringing them abroad. The couple will be "meeting up" again in Hong Kong for their Lucas's 4th birthday on the 2nd of August.

Apparently, it may take them at least one year before divorce is finalised.

Plastic Surgery: Tavia Yeung’s Growing “Pinnochio” Nose

Since highest-earning fadan, Charmaine Sheh (???) left TVB, Tavia Yeung (??) successfully climbed to the top. Recently, Tavia’s series aired one after another. Rather than focusing on her acting, the audience noticed that Tavia’s nose was growing like wooden puppet, Pinnochio! With the healthy ratings of TVB’s new series, The Other Truth "??", Tavia’s plastic surgery rumors were once again in rife discussion. Many netizens commented that watching Tavia’s series was similar to watching the chronicles of Pinnochio!

Allegedly, due to the wide media coverage of Tavia’s “Pinnochio nose,” Tavia had to maintain the shape of her nose through annual hyaluronic acid injections. Compared to her flat nose shape when she first entered the entertainment industry in 1995, Tavia’s current nose was a lot higher and sharper.

The Changing Shape of Tavia’s Nose Over the Years

In 2001, during The Awakening Story "????", the bridge of Tavia’s nose was low and the tip was round and did not appear prominent. During the filming of Golden Faith "????", her nose was wide and not long.

In 2007, along with her rising career, Tavia’s nose shape changed. The bridge of her nose heightened and the tip of her nose was slightly more prominent.

In 2010, Tavia’s nose grew mysteriously longer while filming The Mysteries of Love "????" [and Yes Sir, Sorry Sir "???Sir??Sir". The tip of her nose was very prominent and resembled Pinnochio’s nose. However, Tavia denied plastic surgery and insisted that the results were due to make-up. In 2011, after years of modifying its shape, Tavia’s nose appeared longer and the tip grew as well.

Annual Hyaluronic Acid Injections In Nose

An inside source revealed, “Actually Tavia’s nose is not considered to be too flat. However, her nose bridge is not high and the nose tip a bit wide. Since she is afraid of pain, she will not opt for plastic surgery. Several years ago, Tavia started getting hyaluronic acid injections from a doctor. Each time, she received a minor injection, so the results were not too noticeable [by the public at first]. In recent years, she told the doctor that she wanted her nose to be more prominent. After the [recent] hyaluronic acid injections, the public commented that she had a ‘Pinnochio nose.’ The hyaluronic acid gets absorbed by the body within six months to a year. Each time Tavia stars in a prominent series or important advertisement, she will see the doctor first to avoid her nose appearing differently.”

Allegedly, Tavia will see the doctor several days prior to the onset of an important project. After the hyaluronic acid injections, there will be minor swelling in the area. Since Tavia received the injections on a regular basis to maintain her “Pinnochio nose,” there were periods of two to three months in which Tavia’s nose would have minor differences. Since the tip of Tavia’s nose sometimes appeared rounder while other times sharper, no wonder netizens also noticed the difference.

Tavia’s Doctor Revealed She Was A Frequent Customer

Accompanied by a female friend, a Sudden Weekly reporter had a one-hour consultation with Tavia’s doctor, Chow Wing Chow (???) in the Central district. Aside from explaining the use of hyaluronic acid injections, Dr. Chow also revealed that Tavia Yeung was a frequent customer.

After assessing the reporter’s female friend’s facial features, the following conversation took place at Dr. Chow’s clinic:

D=Dr. Chow; F= Reporter’s female friend

D= To get hyaluronic acid injections in the nose bridge and nose tip would cost $6,500 HKD per injection shot. The results would last for one year.

F= Will there be side effects?

D= No. After the injection shot, there is usually a minor redness and a little mark. However, the mark resembles a tiny mosquito bite and not noticeable. After the hyaluronic acid shots, you can go out to see other people and even go on the airplane.

F= Can you lower the price a little. I was recommended by Miss Yeung to come here.

D= Which Miss Yeung?

F= Ah Yi recommended me to come here. Since she is an actress, of course she has money!

(Dr. Chow laughed and folded his arms.) D= Ah, Tavia Yeung. Actually, the price is very fair. Tavia has not come here as frequently lately…. She really turned more beautiful lately! Aside from her, many TVB actresses are my clients!

F= After getting the hyaluronic acid shots, will the nose become stiff and hard, resembling a wooden puppet’s nose?

D= Of course not. It is enough to get one shot each year. If you are too anxious and get the shots too frequently, of course there will be problems!

Tavia Denied Altering Nose

At a recent promotional event with the 2011 Miss Hong Kong contestants, Tavia responded to allegations that she had altered her nose, “Reporters have touched my nose and examined it. I did seek the consultation of Dr. Chow many years ago to remove a birthmark. I wanted to say hi to the doctor because the birthmark near my brow bone is not completely gone yet. I have to ask him to follow up on the matter.”

Tavia said she did not mind the recent Sudden Weekly report. If she were to receive plastic surgery, there were many areas that she would need to fix. “I want to make my nose higher. If I needed to fix it, I’ll wait until I’m older. I’ll just get facials now.”
