[News] “Topping Charts Makes You The Best?”… The Truth Behind Hallyu-dols Topping Oricon’s Charts

“Topping charts makes you the best?”

Oricon. It’s a familiar word. With idol groups pouring into Japan, articles related to the Oricon Charts have been flooding Korea. Recently, we’ve seen more than a handful of articles without the title ‘So-and-So Tops Oricon’s OO Charts’. It’s all thanks to the exclusive contracts signed with Japanese agencies and their strategic debuts.

On the 29th of September, three Korean idol groups topped the various categories of the Oricon charts. T-ara, TVXQ and 2NE1 beat Japanese singers to come out on top in the daily single charts, the daily album charts and the weekly album charts respectively.

But we mustn’t just accept a ‘No. 1' on the Oricon Charts for its outward appearance. This is because though it may be the same ‘No. 1', the internal stability is totally different. One representative of the K-Pop industry stated, “Every idol group that has entered the Japanese market is using an Oricon marketing strategy,” and “The Oricon charts represent album sales. What matters is the actual number of copies sold, not the rankings.

In fact, the ‘No.1' spots by the three groups appeared to look the same, but were completely different when looked into. The actual amount of albums sold, as well as the difference in albums sold with the second highest album on the charts, made a clear distinction between these achievements. We’ve delved into the truth that lies between the number ’1' on the Oricon Charts and we were able to compare the actual popularity of these idol groups in Japan.

?”The ‘No.1's are all the same? The nutritional value is different”

Last month, TVXQ, T-ara and 2NE1 dominated the Oricon charts as they topped the daily album charts, the daily single charts and the weekly album charts respectively. But the evaluation they received was completely different. While one topped the charts with soaring album sales that were above everyone else, another topped the charts thanks to a successful fence-sitting strategy.

The team with the highest nutritional value in their achievement was TVXQ. They sold 105,486 copies of their new album ‘TONE’ on the first day. This is the first time since their debut in Japan that they have sold over 100,000 copies of an album on its release date. And the difference in album sales between TVXQ and second place was immense. They sold almost nine times more than ‘Sakanaction’, who sold 17,957 copies of their album. TVXQ’s first day album sales can easily put on the same level as that of Japan’s top singers such as Ayumi Hamasaki and V6.

T-ara’s achievements were quite surprising. They ranked high on the daily and weekly charts of their debut single ‘Bo Beep Bo Beep’. Selling 20,068 copies on their debut date, these figures are similar to the average number of singles Japanese singers sell when they top the Oricon single charts. What’s equally surprising is the fact that T-ara beat SID, who have been named the hottest artistes of the year in Japan. On the day of T-ara’s debut, SID sold 16,851 copies of their single and came in at second place.

2NE1's ‘No.1' came out of sheer luck. ‘Nolza’ topped the weekly charts (19th~25th) with 26,334 copies sold, barely beating the modern rock group ‘Every Little Thing’ with a 5,149 copies difference. But 2NE1's weekly album sales are similar to what T-ara sold in a single day (21st). It would be meaningless to even attempt to compare them with TVXQ. 2NE1 was able to top the charts thanks to the fact that luckily, there wasn’t much competition against them.

?”Comparing their future value with all Hallyu-dols”

All the records set by Hallyu-dols till now can become a standard to compare the true value of these top spots on the charts. No other idol can be compared to TVXQ and their activities. T-ara’s debut achievements are similar to that of Girls’ Generation and KARA. Though 2NE1 ranked high on the album charts with their debut album, there’s no substance in their win.

First of all, TVXQ are the undisputed top dogs and boast an absolute advantage in album sales. They are constantly breaking their own records. For example, this is the first time they’ve sold over 100,000 copies on their first day. This shows that JYJ leaving the group didn’t hinder TVXQ’s Japanese activities and regardless of the long hiatus they took, they are still powerful in the industry.

T-ara, who sold 20,000 copies of their single on the first day, came out on top ahead of their competition of Rainbow (10,141 copies) and After School (9,060 copies) who debuted around the same time. T-ara’s achievements can be compared to that of Girls’ Generation or KARA’s weekly results. The two groups sold around 40,000 copies of their debut singles and T-ara sold a total of 49,712 copies of their single in their first week.

Though 2NE1 topped the charts with their debut album that sold 26,334 copies, they’ve mostly been met by criticism of ‘sneak thieving’. There’s no substance in their win as their weekly album sales are only one fifth to one tenth of the album sales of KARA and Girls’ Generation’s weekly album sales. KARA sold 107,403 copies of ‘Girls’ Talk’ while Girls’ Generation sold 232,000 copies of ‘Girls’ Generation’.

”Oricon Marketing, What matters more than the rankings is internal stability”

Oricon boasts the most powerful influence in the J-Pop market. That may be why K-Pop agencies are focusing their efforts on Oricon marketing. It is being used as a mere tool to show off idol groups’ achievement. But we must not be fooled by the mere outward appearance of a ‘No.1' spot as the ranking may be the same, but the actual worth of the win is completely different.

An expert in the J-Pop industry stated, “You have to look into when and from whom the ‘No.1' spot was taken. There’s a big difference in releasing an album at the same time as ‘SMAP’ and at the same time as a rookie group,” and criticized the bubble surrounding the No.1 title as he pointed out, “It would be a mistake for one to use only a ‘No.1' spot on the Oricon Charts to gauge a group’s popularity in Japan.

Of course, there’s no reason to devalue the worth of the charts’ rankings. No matter whether the competition was fierce or not, a ‘No.1' spot on the Oricon charts is a meaningful achievement. The problem is the exaggerated reports made on such achievements. We must not distort the essence of the charts in order to make an image of a Hallyu star. What’s more important than rankings is internal stability, and this can only be achieved through high album sales.

A representative of the K-Pop industry stated, “The gauge for a group’s popularity lies in their album sales. The numbers that change every day and every week are nothing but a mirage. A bubble that can burst at any minute,” and “Instead of obsessing over numbers, idol groups should focus on honing their skills. What’s most important is to gain a competitive edge if one wants to survive in the Japanese market for a long period of time.

Aimee Chan's strange 'underarm scar', got a boob job? Moses Chan defends: Don't speak nonsense

A few days ago, Aimee Chan had a bra-revealing scene in Forensics Heroes III. This led to a heated discussion among Netizens. Aside from comparing her to Fala Chen's bra-revealing scene in 2009's The Stew of Life, Netizens also discovered Aimee had a strange 'scar' on her underarm. This led to speculations that she once had something done to her chest (boob job). Her boyfriend Moses Chan clarified that the 'scar' is just the lines on her underarm. Moses made all effort to defend Aimee. He said: "Don't make up nonsense!" Generally, Aimee's bra-revealing scene was well received by audience. The Broadcasting Authority received 1 complaint yesterday regarding the scene having an erotic component.

Aimee participated in Miss Hong Kong 5 years ago with a 34D cup size, which got her the label "soup bowl chest". At the time, she did have rumors that she got a boob job, but she already denied. Recently for a scene in FH3, she had to appear in her bra. It was seen she had a satisfying body figure and it was a feast for the eyes, but that wasn't as eye catching as the underarm 'scar' she had. However, overall Netizens commented that Aimee's reveal was pretty healthy, so the next day no complaints were received. It was only until yesterday that there was 1 complaint.

Recently, Aimee and Moses have been a huge hit. Earlier they were spotted cooking together at home, revealing their close relationship. Moses couldn't bear with his girlfriend's body figure being questioned, so he voiced out to support her. Yesterday afternoon, Moses attended the Hong Kong Girl Scouts anniversary event. He was asked about his girlfriend's bra-revealing scene. He laughed: "I haven't seen it, but I heard the ratings are high. She is the healthy type, I give her 100%! (Do you mind?) As an artist, it's hard to avoid sexiness, I don't mind, I even revealed my butt before. I pay more attention to the story/acting, she greatly improved! (She has a scar under her arm, its speculated that she's done surgery!) That's just the lines under the arm! Don't speak nonsense!" Towards the Netizens comparisons of Aimee and Fala Chen's bra-revealing scenes, does he feel Aimee beats Fala? He said they are both good. For Aimee, besides the sexiness, she also did a healthy reveal.

Fala Chen is happy to get the 'pork award' (consolation award)

Fala Chen, Kate Tsui, Samantha Ko and Toby Chan were ribbon-cutting guests for the grand opening of a handbag store. There were no security personnel on site, nor were there any railing to separate the guests and the reporters. This caused a huge confusion because many ran up towards the 4 beauties. It was fortunate that no one was hurt.

Fala is one of this year's hot favorites for TV Queen, but recently her popularity has been overshadowed by Myolie Wu. Also, Myolie's new series is broadcasting soon, and this will boost the momentum. Fala expressed aside from Myolie, there are other female artists who are very popular as well and have high chances to win. She personally does not mind who wins the award, even if its a beef or pork (consolation awards), it will still be fine.

As for Charmaine Sheh's recent rumor that she's implementing the TVB FaDan poaching for Ricky Wong. All along, Fala has been in touch with Charmaine privately, did she receive an invitation from Charmaine too? Fala expressed she does meet up with Charmaine in their personal lives, but Charmaine has never mentioned anything regarding the poach. Also, she still has a contract with TVB and does not believe the rumors. Kate also expressed she does not believe Charmaine would take such actions. She said she has received Ricky Wong's call but not Charmaine's call.

[News] Girls' Generation Targets Global Fame!

Girls’ Generation reveal their new song “The Boys” today, aiming to hit the world with a powerful, strong image.

During an interview prior to their third studio album in Korea and the first-ever maxi single to hit the United States in November, the girls seemed excited to be returning to the local music scene.

The nine girls dressed down for the press conference, wearing simple jeans and shirts. They could easily pass for average university students, chatting with one another in a rather free and open atmosphere. However, when the topic got around to music and performance, they made a complete about-face.

Beyond girlish image

“The Boys,” composed and arranged by Teddy Riley, the celebrated producer who worked with Michael Jackson, is quite different from their previous songs such as “Gee” and “Oh!” Their usual bubbly image is gone and the girls get bold and set out to lead the boys. The song is released in both Korean and English.

“It is an energetic song, representing girl power — not only Girls’ Generation’s power, but women overall,” Tiffany said.
Instead of repeating “hooks,” the song is complete when heard from start to end. “We had many concerns about the hook and we know that Koreans love melodies that catch their ear. But we hope to bring back the old trend of listening to a song fully, not just a highlighted part,” Soo-young said.

Tae-yeon said it was the first time for the composing team to come and direct the recording. “European composers gave us songs, but they usually don’t come to the recording studio,” she said. “I felt that the American producer preferred the natural flow of the song.”
Jessica added that Riley commented on the group with simple words such as “Good” and “I like it.”

Yu-ri said the choreography of “The Boys” is also powerful with a hint of masculinity. “It’s more cool and stylish this time, going well with the lyrics and atmosphere of the song,” she said. Tiffany pointed out a stretching movement when all nine members move downward simultaneously.

Despite the release of the maxi single in the States through Interscope Records, the group will not go to the U.S. to promote their music.

“It is a significant beginning for Girls’ Generation in the U.S., but we do not expect big success at our first attempt. I think it is a good start for us and for K-pop,” Tae-yeon said.

“If we have good opportunities to perform in the U.S., Europe or South America, we are more than glad to go and perform there. However, we are concentrating more on performing here as of now,” Tiffany said. “I think it is more important to present new, high-quality content in Korea since it will spread across the globe eventually through the Internet such as on YouTube.”

Though “The Boys” shows a stronger-than-ever image of the group, their third album contains 11 more tracks and some of them are similar to the typical lively mood of their past.

Also on the album are “How Great Is Your Love,” an R&B ballad with lyrics written by member Soo-young, and the Korean version of “Mr. Taxi,” their hit single in Japan.

‘Teamwork is key’

The girl group said enjoying the music with members has been the driving source of power for them over the past four years.

“I am not a solo performer but a part of this nine-member group. Sometimes, I don’t feel like singing or dancing, but I also know that I might spoil the performance of the whole group,” Tae-yeon said. “Another merit is that when someone is being a grouch, we always have plenty of members to go cheer her up.”

Seo-hyun, the youngest one, said she never thought being in Girls’ Generation as work. “I am always happy since I am with people who can support each other and me when I go through tough times or get exhausted.”

Time has created a strong bond among the members. “We work together as Girls’ Generation, but we are more like friends now. Rather than being pressured by success, we enjoy performing and love receiving energy from our fans,” Soo-young said.
Tae-yeon revealed that the members have a group chat room via a mobile messenger service. “It is easy to talk to each other and share ideas even when we are not physically together,” Yoon-a added.

Girls’ Generation didn’t seem too concerned about rivalry with other groups, including the Wonder Girls who will also soon release a new album. “We are good friends with them and excited to see what they learned from their time in the States,” Tiffany said.

Instead, the group focuses on improving. “As more fans love us, we feel more responsible and try to become better every time we do something,” Yu-ri said. “And it is even better when nine of us are together.”

[News] U-Kiss grabs fans’ heart with great language skills

At the 2011 Asia Song Festival with UNICEF which was held in Daegu on the 15th, U-Kiss won Asia Influential Artist Award and gave performance with SNSD, Super Junior, Lee Seung Gi, and B2ST. The group is currently taking a hiatus due to its leader Soohyun’s vocal fold nodules. But, the group appeared and with Soohyun’s spirit and other members’ fluent language skills earned great feedback from the audience.

Soohyun began the performance by saying, “I’ll definitely perform even if I was going to collapse on stage.” His throat was not in good condition, but he sang three songs, anyway, including “Neverland.” After the performance, the group greeted its fans in three languages: English by Kevin, Chinese by Eli, and Japanese by Dongho. Fans complimented U-Kiss saying it is a “multinational” singing group.

U-Kiss has successfully closed its show at the festival and began its activities with the song “Someday.”

Jessica C. Admits Being the Subject of Leaked Sex Photos

Twenty-two-year-old model, Jessica C., suffered an unfortunate turn of events recently. A bank’s surveillance tape revealed that Jessica had taken $600 HKD that a customer left behind at an ATM in July 2010. Jessica was summoned to the police station to assist with the investigation recently [after the surveillance tape surfaced]. The day before, Jessica’s shocking sex photos and video clips circulated. The photos stunned the entire city of Hong Kong and Jessica suffered emotionally from their exposure.

There were approximately a dozen nude photos released. In several of the photos, a nude woman resembling Jessica C. was seen having intercourse and giving oral sex to a man in a bedroom. The side of the woman’s face was seen clearly, in which her profile resembled Jessica closely. Another video clip featured Jessica emerging from the shower, in which she looked at the camera directly and smiled lightly.

Yesterday, a man who was not fluent in Cantonese attempted to sell the sex photos and video clips for a high price. The man, who was Jessica’s American boyfriend, claimed the photos and videos were taken two years ago in Chicago. Contrary to earlier speculations, the man [featured in the pornographic photos] was not Jessica’s Brazilian model boyfriend, Sergio, whom she had recently broken up with.

Jessica’s manager, Christine, did not deny the authenticity of the photos, while stressing that Jessica was a victim in the incident. In a text message, Christine replied to the media’s inquiries, “Jessica is currently in Taiwan filming and will respond to the recent reports as soon as possible. Many thanks Jessica’s fans, friends and people who care about her. Whether the photos are authentic or not, please understand that Jessica is the victim.”

Yesterday morning, Jessica vented on her blog, indicating that her mood was as foul as the weather. Despite the heavy rains, there was no choice but to withstand the downpour, hoping that the worst would be over soon. In the photo, Jessica held up an umbrella with a frustrated expression.

Andy Lau, Aaron Kwok, Tony Leung Ka Fai create cold war

Edko's heavily invested police epic COLD WAR (HONG JIN) has already confirmed three Best Actors Andy Lau Tak Wa, Aaron Kwok Fu Sing and Tony Leung Ka Fai and scheduled for a Hong Kong production start in October and simultaneous release next year in the Mainland, Taiwan and Hong Kong. The film company is determined to turn the film into the most luxurious Best Actor "city collapsing" acting battle in the past ten years of Hong Kong police film.

Lau Tak Wa said that INFERNAL AFFAIRS (MO GAN DOH) was already a battle of wit suspense classic ten years ago. Hopefully after COLD WAR's release it will become the new symbol of Hong Kong police battle of wits films of the next ten years. His participation this time would be a joy for him. Kwok Fu Sing originally stopped making movies to prepare for his concert but because the COLD WAR script was too attractive he was willing to take time from his rehearsal schedule and sleep less to make it. After completing the film he will return to the rehearsal. The script also motivated Leung Ka Fai as he took time from his current film production to participate. Aside from the three film big shots, new actors Aarif Rahman (Lee Chi Ting) and Eddie Peng Yu-yen will also perform. They have already worked with several big stars. As for the film's directors Leung Lok Man and Lok Kim Ching would joint direct for the first time but have worked behind the scene in the film industry for years.

Edko said that the script was the film's nucleus. Although this big production's two new directors had no director experience, they have been in the Hong Kong film industry for years. Investor Bill Kong Chi Keung said, "Hong Kong film is about the spirit of passing the torch. Ten years ago, (Andrew) Lau Wai Keung and Mak Chong (Alan Mak Siu Fai, Felix Chong Man Keung) were only known in the industry but INFERNAL AFFAIRS provided them an opportunity. Now they have already become pillars of the Hong Kong film industry. Conceivably after COLD WAR, which will not only provide viewers with a class A good film but also transmit new blood to the film industry."

HONG KONG GHOST STORIES (MANG GWAI OI CHING GOO SI)'s actors Chrissie Chau Sau Na, Law Chung Him and others yesterday promoted with a yacht party. A magazine yesterday claimed that Chrissie and Avis were in a cooling period due to Him Jai's old flame Theresa Fu Wing and that they have already been apart for two months. Yesterday she denied the break up rumor, but got teary eyed when she talked about Avis. Chrissie even blamed Him Jai's unsuccessful relationship for dragging her down.

Chrissie said, "If he likes to be the driver so far I would gladly let him! I thought it was a little strange, usually I would be prepared but this time I only found out from my manager, I am not used to it!" Would she reduce points from Avis? She replied, "Later I will have to work on a television sereis in the Mainland, during this period we will be able to calm down." Then she said, "I am not talking about him, today I seemed to be possessed!" Chrisse said with tear in her eyes.

Would she give a chance to her boyfriend? She said, "I would, ultimately when we have been together for awhile we don't have to say so much!" When would Chrissie resume her boyfriend's identity, she beg the media for mercy. Did her boyfriend break her heart? Chrissie said, "I am still in contact with my boyfriend, but we are getting along like friends." How would she be moved? She stressed that she would not. However, when asked whether their relationship was a closed file, she immediately stressed that the file was in progress and joked that her next case has not been opened yet. Was she upset at Theresa? She said that the matter had nothing to do with Theresa, it was not an issue with who was in the car. She said, "Only the car was so small that it would be very crammed!" Theresa's old flame Him Jai said that he has not read the report so he was not at liberty to respond.

[News] Harmful Media Status for SM the Ballad’s “Tomorrow..” Removed

SM the Ballad’s “Tomorrow…” had originally received a harmful media status by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family (Herefater, MOGEF) because the lyrics contained a reference to “alcohol.” On October 14, the MOGEF stated that “SM the Ballad’s ‘I Miss You too Much’ had received a harmful media status but after the lawsuit and the Supreme Court’s decision, we have removed the harmful media status.”

On August 25, SM Entertainment’s lawsuit against the MOGEF was decided in SM Entertainment’s favor. “SM the Ballad” was SM Entertainment’s project group made up of, Super Junior’s Kyuhyun, SHINee’s Jong Hyun, Trax’ Jay, and JINO. After about 50 days since the court decision the Ministry of Gender Equality has made the official announcement.

But, what does receiving “Harmful Media Status” really mean? SM the Ballad’s album had to be displayed with the “Not for anyone under 19” label. About this, SM Entertainment had stated, “The MOGEF gave ‘Tomorrow…’ harmful media status without a clear standard of judgment. The action taken by the MOGEF overtly limits freedom of expression guaranteed by the Korean constitution.”

Currently, the MOGEF is now reconsidering their standards of judgment for K-Pop.

[INTERVIEW] Boyfriend's Interview for "Don't Touch My Girl"

6 member boyband, Boyfriend, has come back with their second single album, “Don’t Touch My Girl.” This song was created by the hit-makers Sweettune.

To match the lively and powerful song, Boyfriend has shed off their cute and anime character like image and returned with a more manly and mature look.

What do you think about this album?
It was an honor to be able to work with Sweettune. The song is very up-beat and fast but if you listen carefully, the words are actually pretty sad. It’s a Boyfriend kind of song. (Donghyun)

I feel like the concept has changed a lot from the first album.
You can say that we pushed the cute factor a lot in the first single album, but in the second one, we added a more manly kind of style, but it’s still pretty cute. From the song title, to the dance, to the song, we changed to a more mature look. (Jeongmin)

How was the public’s response?
We didn’t think our concept change was a big one, but our fans kept saying it was such a drastic change and that they’re shocked. (Donghyun)
A lot of the fans said I’ve become a lot more manlier now that I cut my hair. (Kwangmin)

Weren’t the lyrics a little embarrassing?
I liked that the lyrics were a little embarrassing, it was more fun for me to sing. Especially in our “Don’t Touch My Girl” song, there are lyrics that say belly and I thought that was really cute. (Donghyun)

I heard you guys were building your bodies?
We’re getting trained 2 days a week for 2 hours from our trainer. Other than that, we sometimes train on our own. (Donghyun)
I feel like I’ve become more mature now that I’m building my body. (Youngmin)

Who’s body is the best?
That’s definitely our leader hyung. (Everyone)
Now that I’m building my body, I’m also trying to keep it in balance. I do all different kind of exercises and is training to just build small muscles here and there. (Donghyun)

I feel like you guys have grown a lot since the last time I’ve seen you. Who grew the most?
That’s me, me! When I look at the floor, I feel like the space in between my eyes and the floor has gotten higher hehe. (Minwoo)
I think the twins have grown the most. During our first single album, they were definitely shorter than me, but now I’m pretty sure they’re taller, sigh. (Donghyun)
At first (Youngmin) hyung started to grow more and then I started to grow and now we’re pretty much the same. (Kwangmin)

Who is your rival group?
Boyfriend’s rival is Boyfriend. (Minwoo)
Because we have to get better ourselves, we pick ourselves as our rivals. (Jeongmin)

It seemed like a lot of people mistake you guys for Teen Top.
Really? Is it because we have the same number of people? (Jeongmin)

Do you guys have a group you guys want to be like?
Ever since pre-debut, SHINee sunbae-nims have been my role models. I want to become like them. (Minwoo)
I want to be like DBSK sunbae-nims. (Kwangmin)
I want to be like Shinhwa sunbae-nims who are still together. (Donghyun)

Who is the mood maker in the group?
Jeongmin and Minwoo are the style to do random cute stuff to lift the mood up. (Donghyun)

At a past music program, there was a kidnapping happening done by Ok Taecyeon. How was it?
I didn’t know it on stage but when I monitored it, it did seem like they were being kidnapped and I thought to myself, so that’s how the word kidnap comes out. We also rose on the most searched terms for a while so I was very shocked. (Donghyun)
I was really happy that (Ok Taecyeon) hyung said our names on stage. We were both trainees at one time. But the kidnapping articles surprised me. (Youngmin)

Are you guys scared of 2PM?
Not at all. I can’t say we’re close to them but they always greet us so friendly. (Kwangmin)

You guys are going to be performing on the stage as SNSD soon, are you guys nervous?
Hmm, I think there will be a lot of things to learn so I’m looking forward to it. (Minwoo)

Do you guys have any close girl group friends?
We have no close groups in general. There wasn’t a chance for us to befriend anyone. I want to be able to get close to people during this promotion cycle. (Donghyun)
We have no way of contact. (Youngmin)

Who takes care of you guys the best out of same entertainment girl group SISTAR?
They are all very nice and friendly but if I had to pick it would be Bora noona. (Minwoo)
Bora noona is very kind. She’s like that to everybody so she’s the kind of person you just want to get close to. (Donghyun)

What girl group do you look forward to?
SISTAR recently won first so I think they are a group that you can definitely look forward to. (Donghyun)

Did your entertainment put a ban on dating?
They didn’t say anything specifically about not being able to date but if my members did, as the leader I would have to stop them. (Donghyun)

Do you guys have any greed for acting?
We should first grow big as singers. If we get a chance later in our career then I would love to. (Youngmin)

What about variety shows? Who would do the best?
Jeongmin is very funny and is a very bright child with a great personality so I think he’ll do great. (Donghyun)
I can do anything if you guys just ask me! I would love to try a real variety like ‘Infinity Challenge’ or ‘1 Night 2 Days’. (Jeongmin)

There’s a lot of idols coming out on Immortal Song 2. Would you join if you were asked to?
If I was given a chance I would love to. (Hyunseong)
Hyunseong is practicing a lot on his singing. (Donghyun)

How do you guys manage school while promoting?
I’m not able to go. Tomorrow’s a test so I have to study but I’m very worried. But the class president gives me notes on everything so it’s been a lot of help. (Kwangmin)

Plans for the future?
I want to be able to enjoy the stage. I want to get to know our fans more. (Kwangmin)
We weren’t able to meet our fans a lot during our first album. But through this album, I’m going to get to know them more and make sure we have a lo~t of fan signings and fan meetings! (Jeongmin)
You guys are going to look forward to us, right? (Donghyun)
