So Wing Hong said that after a few days in Hong Kong he will rush back to the Mainland to work on the film EAST MEETS WEST 2011 (DUNG SING SAI JAU 2011). He honestly said that for this movie he turned down many opportunities, perhaps upwards of 500,000 to 600,000 yuan RMB. Was the salary enough to compensate him? So Hong said, "You can't count like that, I am a rookie in the film industry. My salary wouldn't be too high. However this time I learned a lot. I have never made a comedy so the time is well spend."

He revealed that in the film almost every actors were flying around on wires. He said that his previous wire work experience was simple, he did not expect to spend over two hours on the wire this film. He not only had cramps but also referred to it as the most painful for men. He worried that he would be impotent due to it. He also revealed that during the shoot he did not eat due to fear of nausea, but he did not expect that after the meal director Jeff Lau Chun Wai actually asked him for additional shoots and told the crew to put on rain coats just in case. Luckily finally someone saved him and did not have to hang on the wire again.
