Fans pull on Raymond Lam's necklace nearly choking him

The other day, Raymond Lam was promoting for Luk Fook Jewelry at a shopping mall in Wuhan (China). Over a thousand fans and civilians surrounded the location. The mall was packed with people. For safety reasons, the scheduled 30 minute event shortened to 15 minutes. When Raymond was leaving the mall, a large group rushed towards him, falling on each other and gave Raymond several scratch marks. The buttons on his suit were also pulled off.

Last time when Raymond promoted in Wuhan because there were too many people, the event was forced to cancel. This time, at least he was able to meet with the fans and a fortunate fan also got to go up on stage to give him a hug. About the chaos in the mall, Raymond said: "I was really frightened because there were just way too many people. Besides people pulling on my clothes, someone pulled my necklace and nearly choked me. There were also many hands around me. I know they didn't mean it. They were just too excited." When Raymond got back to the HK airport, there were fans waiting for him, but many were obedient and listened to orders. Raymond signed their CDs as if he's holding a small scale autograph session.
