A bread product under the actor Jang Geun Suk's name has been produced in Japan.
On January 17th, Tree J Company stated that Japanese convenience store franchise Lawson has launched a bread product using Jang Geun Suk's name as the brand.
Last year, Jang Geun Suk had signed with Lawson Frau International and Tree-J Company to become Lawson’s product ambassador. As a result, his face is on two types of bread produced by Lawsons.
The product comes in two flavors, mocha coffee melon and bulgogi, while the actor's name and photo are on the wrapping.
The release of the product under his name comes as no surprise since he has been one of the most popular Korean celebrities in Japan. A representative stated, "Jang Geun Suk is extremely popular among Japanese females, and we chose him to endorse our product because female consumers are our target market."
