Leon introduced Amusic downloads to raise relief funds

Always willing to help, Leon Lai has found his way of raising relief funds for Japan. He has organised for his company Amusic to enable users to download songs from the company website. Leon revealed: “Amusic has never let users download but this time is an exception. There will be music videos as well as songs available for download. All proceeds will be donated to the Japan relief fund. Janice’s and Aarif’s hit songs will be available for download.”

Amusic will collaborate with KK Box from 28th of March make available various Amusic artist’s 10 hit music videos and songs for download. Every cent taken from the downloads will be all towards the relief fund for the Japan disaster. The download list will be available up to end of April.

Leon will not be appearing in the candlelight vigil held on 1st April in Victoria Park. He replied: “Everyone has their own way of helping out.” He expressed that he is supporting the fund raising and at the moment Japan requires funds for rehousing and getting enough food supplies for their people. Leon added: “At the moment, for those in Japan, it is dealing with the radiation which is most important and not listening to us singing, but raising funds is what we can do.” Other Amusic artists will attend the vigil if time permits.

There has been more rumours about Leon’s wife Galie Lok becoming pregnant. Leon said confidently: “Definitely not.” Asked if Jill Vidal will return to the music industry, he indicated that when it is the right time, things will be revealed.
