Golden Horse Film Awards Best Actor Andy Lau was in Taiwan last night for the premiere of A Simple Life, he specially made a trip to the cinema to meet the fans which attracted 500 fans. As he will be expecting his newborn in June, he was seems delighted and refreshed, when asked if his wife had watched the film? He gave an answer: “Thanks for your concern, hope she will watch but now it’s not convenience.”With the film opening in cinemas in Mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan, he said: “Very excited, hope everybody will support Hong Kong film.”
Andy expressed that he had watch the Mandarin dubbing trailer and exclaimed: “Not bad, very cute, it will have a close feeling for Taiwanese.” He followed saying: “This film not only make you cry, it also make you smile, give a thought of who treat you well after watching the film, give that person your love.”
The film is about the relationship between maid and master, but filial in private, when talked about getting along with elderly, he revealed that he said that he’s fine with everything and just nob his head in front of his parents.
Andy expressed that he’s delighted to act and invest in A Simple Life as without Ann Hui there will be no Andy Lau, he also exclaimed Deanie Ip as his ‘shifu’.
He will be in Taiwan for two days, as per usual keeping a low profile on his wife and will talk less about fatherhood, he will give the same treatment to media everywhere.
