JYJ’s Park Yoochun has been chosen as Seoul’s representative Hallyu star.
The Seoul government recently held a survey on its website to see who foreigners thought was ‘the Hallyu actor/actress who best represents Seoul’. In the survey that was held from the 20th of June till the 3rd of July, a total of 2,800 people participated, with 2,474 foreigners and 326 Koreans, and Park Yoochun came out on top.
When asked why they believed Park Yoochun was most fit for the role, foreigners gave answers such as, “He’s handsome”, “He has a kind, warm image”, “His acting”, “His singing”, and “His hardworking nature and drive for success.”
When netizens heard the news that Park Yoochun was chosen as Seoul’s representative Hallyu star, they left comments such as, “Park Yoochun has risen to greater success these days,” and “It’s great to see Park Yoochun working so hard in whatever he does.”
Meanwhile, a total of 2,474 females and 326 males participated in the survey with 1,920 of the total number being in their teens and twenties.
