Wayne Lai does not support Rosy Business 3

TVB's Rosy Business (RB) series part 1 and 2 received high ratings and won public praises. Although at the TVB Anniversary Awards, No Regrets lost the Best Series award, but there is an idea to make RB trilogy. However, lead actor Wayne Lai felt that it's better to stop when it's still good, he does not support making a Rosy Business 3. It was said that RB producer Lee Tim Shing expressed that he has an idea for a third installment. As RB was set in the Qing Dynasty, while NR was set in the pre-modern era, so the third one should be in the modern era, but this is challenging and hard to handle. Wayne said: "I feel that it's time to stop when it's good. I don't support a third installment."

TVB Executive Chairman (Norman Leung) invited the entire NR crew for a celebration last night and explained the unfairness complaintes at the TVB Anniversary Awards. Towards NR losing Best Series Award to Can't Buy Me Love, and led to criticisms. Norman supported that the results were reasonable, he said CBML is this year's highest rated series and NR has their own advantages. Every award presented was based on a scoring system. Raymond Lam winning My Favourite TV Male Character Award also led to criticisms, reporters asked Norman if he were to choose between Moses and Raymond, just like TV King's battle between Moses and Wayne, it is hard to choose." Wayne also helped out and supported Raymond winning the My Favourite TV Male Character Award, he said that a lot of the audience likes Raymond. When liking a person, there are different characters and there is no standard. He also felt tat Moses performance was done very well.

Last night, GM Stephen Chan, Catherine Tsang, Virgina Lok and other TVB executives attended the celebration. Virgina said that before the awards ceremony she not dare to invite Wayne Lai and Sheren Tang to sign a management contract to avoid controversy in the awards. She currently hopes with the most sincerity, longest contract and silver bullet policy to invite them to collaborate. Virgina expressed: "Sheren's manager Helen is my long time good friend. I won't invite her favourite, besides Helen retires. As for Wayne's manager is his wife, their contract is for life."

Sheren felt touched by Virgina Lok's contract offer, she laughed and said if her manager Helen really does retire, only then will she consider signing with TVB. Asked if she'll buy a house to reward herself for becoming TV Queen? Sheren said that paying off the house to her is a punishment.
