Ah Sa honestly faces netizens' comments, sheds tears over being accused of deliberately singing off-key

Yesterday, Charlene Choi (Ah Sa) and Eric Kwok, the music supervisor of her new album, appeared at a radio station to promote her new album "Montage" which will release this month on July 24. Ah Sa was asked, has her mood relaxed in the past few days and has she been able to face going off-key at the TVB Jade Red and White Singer Battle? Ah Sa admitted: "After the event, there were many news reports. I am not a saint. I was very nervous for the first few days. (Have you cried because of this matter?) No; only during the first interview, at the end, someone said to me that they think I deliberately sang poorly to draw them to listen. At that moment, I could not hold back my tears." Eric who was beside her said: "In this world, is it necessary to say such harsh words?"

Ah Sa also stated that she asked her assistant to print out netizens' comments for her to see. She said that she cannot avoid it and must face this fear. Her boyfriend William Chan once expressed that he will not read netizens' comments. Ah Sa said: "Each person has different ways of handling matters. I am more unusual. And I know how to distinguish between good and bad intentions." As for whether or not she will sing "Next Station, Tin Hau" again, she answered: "A little old-fashioned, really. Nevermind, I will not explain further in order to avoid having people say that I am looking for excuses. If there is an opportunity, I will sing this song again."

Eric said with a smile that it has been a very long time since he has composed 10 songs for one singer all in one stretch. Perhaps recently getting married has driven him to be even more hardworking. Eric also praised Ah Sa, saying that she is hardworking and has a pleasant singing voice, but merely that she does not have enough control over her singing ability. When asked what are Ah Sa's areas of improvement, he said: "Since everyone is so concerned about Ah Sa's singing abilities, starting from today, there is no need to lip sync even if there is the opportunity. Every time after singing live, everyone will inquire about how her singing was."
