Edmond Leung Sighs "Cigarette is More Expensive than Dinner."

Hong Kong's financial secretary John Tsang recently announced an estimation of Hong Kong's budget; as a smoker, Edmond Leung expressed, "The fact that the price of each pack of cigarette is increased by 50 yuan arouses many complaints. Everyone believes that smoking is more expensive than eating. I will start smoking less. In fact, I tried to quit smoking about 10 years ago; unfortunately, I failed within 3 months. The government's heavily increase on taxes, added on to the ban of smoking in many public areas and my plans on having a baby, all influeces me to quit smoking soon. Fortunately, my wife does not smoke as much as I do, so it isn't that hard for her to quit!"

As for the increased first registration tax, Edmond Leung expressed that it has no effect on him for he never planned on purchasing a new vehicle. However, his close friends who were interested in purchasing a new vehicle lost interested and backed down.
