Japanese fans remember Leslie Cheung with 2388 Origami Cranes

April 1 will be the anniversary Leslie Cheung Kwok Wing's death. Currently in the Mainland Chan Suk Fun will be in Hefei, thus she paid her respects before leaving Hong Kong.

In addition Cheung Kwok Wing's Japanese fans every year would present thousand origami cranes to Cheung Kwok Wing. On the back of each crane was messages that they wrote for Cheung Kwok Wing. This year's thousand crane theme was star. This year 2388 cranes were made because in Japanese 23 sounded like "ni-san", which meant Brother (Gor Gor); and 88 meant forever. These 2388 origami cranes represented them. "Leslie, your shine as a superstar is infinite!" At 5PM on April 1 they will bring the thousand origami crane to Po Fook Hill to present to Cheung Kwok Wing.
