'My Cruel Lover' Costume Fitting without Niki Chow

It was rumored all along that Niki Chow will be in Lee Tim Shing's new TVB series My Cruel Lover. Yesterday at the costume fitting, the female lead was no where to be seen. Tim Gor expressed that the female lead had always belonged to Niki Chow, but because she's a BMA singer and BMA is part of HKRIA, who are currently in a dispute with TVB, she can't appear on the station. BMA's boss eventually let Niki go and allowed her to terminate her contract to shoot this series. The day before, she officially signed a contract with TVB. However, because the contract is not effective yet, she cannot make an appearance on TVB yet.

As for male lead Raymond Wong, he expressed that he was once worried about the female lead too, since the script was tailored for Niki. However, he does not dare to make any suggestions because he is not part of the production team. Speaking of his pregnant wife, when is she expected to due? He did not respond directly and only said that he currently has to shoot series and look after his wife, it is the beginning of a nightmare. So he plans to get advice from two other cast members who are already parents, Claire Yiu and Jack Wu. He wants to ask them how they manage their time.

Also this is the first time Tracy Ip collaborates with Tim Gor, she expressed that she will pressure herself in hope for a good performance. Recently there was a magazine report exposing that she attended a 'banquet', she responded: "I already sent out a lawyer's letter, these false reporters have affected my mood, I don't want to always be involved in them, already passed the issue to my lawyer to handle."
