The sad announcement that Kelly Chen had miscarriage their twin daughters shook the showbiz world and many people offered their support and blessings to Kelly and husband Alex.

The tragedy happened earlier this month, it was heard that Kelly was submitted to hospital and was bed bound for 5 days trying to save her daughters. Kelly’s husband left his work and business behind and was with Kelly the whole time for support and comfort. However, the terrible news came and Kelly was crying endlessly. Both parents are heartbroken at these sad times.

Kelly pregnancy was due around the summer months but the twin daughters sadly did not have the fate to meet their parents. Kelly told the press that the miscarriage was last week. According to her assistants, Kelly felt unusual belly twitches and husband, Alex decided to take her to hospital. Doctors instructed Kelly to stay in bed for 5 days to see if it helps the pregnancy stabilise. Therefore, Kelly was bed bound and hoped for the best. Unfortunately, it did not help.
Kelly’s husband Alex was concerned for Kelly and his family and had left his work to be with Kelly to provide support. During the 5 days, Alex was at Kelly’s side and both hoped for their daughters to pull through. Last week, doctors informed them that the daughters did not survive, causing the couple to drown in tears and sorrow.

Kelly at 38 became pregnant with twins via artificial insemination. Bearing twins at this age is known to b be of very high risk. A while back, Kelly said: “I am worried about not being able to carry the bump, let’s see how things go but will do my best.” Consequently, Kelly had a lot of pressure coping with the pregnancy.

Currently, Kelly is back at home recovering and trying to her health better. Alex continued accompanying his wife. The couple is emotionally supporting each other throughout this difficult time. Yesterday, reporters contacted Kelly’s assistant, Leo. Due to the shock of miscarriage that Kelly has experienced, reporters asked whether Kelly will need to see a psychologist, Leo replied: “No arrangements have been made, but her management company is going to see how Kelly is coping. She seems calm now and things looking optimistic.” He added that Kelly has been resting at home and not been out. She heard about the disaster news in Japan and she hoped that Japan will recover soon. She is unhappy about this news but her mood is OK. Leo emphasised that Kelly’s company will keep in touch with her and check on her health as priority

Finally, both set of Kelly and Alex’s parents has not visited Kelly at home yet. However they had visited when Kelly was in hospital. It is such a tough time for Kelly, Alex and their family, it is understandable that they want to remain low profile and Kelly gets plenty of time to rest and not get disturbed by the media.
