Singer-actor Lee Seunggi will make his Japan advancement through the release of his debut album next year.
During his solo concert, which was held at Olympic Park Gymnastics Stadium in Seoul on December 10th and 11th, Lee Seunggi revealed that he will be releasing a new Japanese album in March of 2012. "I’ll be using about two to three of the songs included in my fifth album to my promotions in Japan."
His statement received great interest from the public and happened to be noticed by the Japanese media. On December 12th, Sankei Sports reported, "Lee Seunggi, a singer who is regarded as the little brother of the nation, will be signing on with a Japanese agency and will debut as a singer."
Lee Seunggi currently signed with the agency of singer-songwriter Kuwata Keisukei and actor-singer Fukuyama Masaharu. Using his singing skills, he plans to expand on his acting and show hosting abilities in Japan through participating in variety shows and taking on acting roles.
He expressed his interests in an interview with various media outlets saying, "I’d love to go on a popular variety or music program in Japan, as well as hold live performance at Mudokwan. I also want to host on shows that are broadcasted simultaneously in Japan and Korea."
