Koni Lui and Eric Tsang Having Secret Affair for 6 Months?

Koni Lui Wai Yee, 2006 Miss Hong Kong 2nd Runner-Up, has been in the entertainment industry for five years. Although the “long-legged crab” often dressed to stand out, her career did not gain momentum until she attached herself to Eric Tsang Chi Wai last year. Eric Tsang’s new film I LoveHong Kong 2011 "我愛 HK開心萬歲" features Koni Lui in a larger role than stars, Sandra NgKwan Yu and Fala Chen. At a recent promotional event, Koni and Eric openly flirted with each other, thus bringing to light their secret affair.

I Love Hong Kong 2011’s box office has reached $25 million (HKD) and was the highest performer among Lunar New Year films to-date this year. Since promotion for the film started in the beginning of February, Eric has kept his “secret fling,” Koni by his side at all events. At an earlier promotional event for I Love Hong Kong 2011 in Guangzhou , Koni was the only actress Eric pulled onstage with him.

On February 17th, Eric and Koni partnered to play some games on a television program. Since Sandra Ng was absent from the event, Koni took central stage. Koni retrieved some stickers and put them on Eric’s shirt. Eric immediately grabbed Koni’s hand and introduced her to executive, Wong Ka Hei, and Director Chung Shu Kai for photos. Since reporters were present, Koni appeared a little awkward. When the food was served, Eric ignored sexy actresses, Jess Shum Cheuk Ying and Samantha Ko Hoi Ning, who were standing by his side. Eric fed a sausage to Koni and she hugged him from behind.

Koni Lui: “The Man Killer”

Koni Lui was a former model and possessed a pair of 44 inch legs. She often revealed her long legs and cleavage in order to stand out. At the 2010 Mr. Hong Kong pageant, Koni wore a plunging red dress that revealed her ample cleavage, resulting in 29 viewer complaints filed towards the show.

In 2009, during the filming of Shaw Productions’ Turning Point , Koni attached herself to co-star, Anthony Wong Chau Sung. Allegedly, she even clipped his nails for him. Due to Anthony Wong requesting the Director to add more scenes for Koni, her once cameo role’s screen time was significantly increased. On the premiere night, Koni attended with Anthony Wong and outshined Fala Chen, who was the main female lead. Anthony even kissed Koni’s cheek at the champagne toast at the premiere. Allegedly, Antony and Koni’s relationship ended after Tuning Point.

Secret Affair with Eric Tsang

After appearing on last year’s Super Trio, Koni successfully caught Eric Tsang’s attention due to her flirtatious personality. Koni often took the initiative to chase after what she wanted. Since then, Eric invited Koni to appear in all of his game shows and film productions. She persuaded Eric to increase her role in I Love Hong Kong 2011 from a small role to a part that became more prominent than Sandra Ng and Anita Yuen’s roles.

An inside source stated, “Koni Lui really knows how to please Eric Tsang. After appearing on Super Trio, she will text message Eric each time she came across his news. Eric realized what was happening and soon, they were together. Since the 2010 TVB Anniversary, Eric started taking care of Koni and gave her many opportunities to stand out. At the Anniversary performance, Eric pulled Koni into the parody featuring Virginia Lok (which originally did not include a part for Koni) to purposely let her shine.

“At the Hong Kong Performing Artistes Guild 17th Annual Dinner held in January, Koni was Eric’s partner. Since Koni wanted to film movies, Eric introduced her to many industry executives that night. Koni Lui knows how to talk to men; she has a quick reaction and knows how to tell humorous jokes. She knows how to party hard too. Many men love to play around with her.

The inside source added, “Eric and Koni are fooling around very carefully. Eric has a girlfriend in Canada . Koni is still dating boyfriend, Dickson Wong [former 2008 Mr. Hong Kong participant].”

When reporters contacted Dickson Wong regarding Koni’s affair with Eric Tsang, Dickson sounded embarrassed. “I don’t work in the industry anymore; I don’t know how to answer you.” (Did Dickson believe in the rumors?) “I don’t know how to answer you.”
